EndGame & Events
Welcome to End Game & Events

Over the years many of our Realms have embraced their game’s End Game. Each game has had different names for its content like the Raids of EverQuest 2 or the Operations of the Old Republic and the Dungeons of Neverwinter.
During those times we had to track different things, in EQ2 there was the DKP (Dragon Kill Point) system used to track attendance for points used to bid on rare loot. In Dark Age of Camelot awards were assigned to experts in their class and achievements on the battlefield. In the early days of the Old Republic and Neverwinter we would track our progress through the difficulty tiers of Story Mode and Nightmare Mode as Operation raids were conquered.
Whatever the game or type of end game content you run through at your weekly events, I want to provide an easy way to track it. Whether it is your realm’s progress as it achieves its glory defeating the toughest bosses, or to just being able track attendance to meetings and weekly events.
Each event has a spot for the officers and DMG to record the historical moments and achievements the realm made as it conquered or was defeated by the hardest content in game.
The tool will also help acknowledge the commitment of your members as they attend event after event your officers schedule.
Features:
- Track the progression of cleared content and ribbons that signify a guild first or progression milestone.
- Assign different difficulty tiers for the unique variations of the same area.
- View how many events members attend with player XP.
- Players can see their event history and how many events they have attended at the bottom of their member profile page.
- Award DMG ribbons, celebrating a member’s achievements and goals for attending the events.

The Event Summary

Here is an example of an event summary. To the far left an icon will display of what type of event this was, in this case it was an Operation. The title of the event contains 3 pieces of Information:
[Event Type]: [Base Content Name] ([Difficulty Tier])
Operations: Eternity Vault (Story Mode)
To the far right of the summary displays the progression of the nights event. The star represents this was a guild milestone, which will contain more detail on the “View” button. The Old Republic has 2 factions where the guild runs content, Empire and Republic. This event reflects a full clear of the bosses and a victory for our Republic raid team. Custom Progression and Type icons can be chosen for each realm.
Event Details
Selecting the details button on the event summary, takes you to the event page with additional details. The page is broken up into three sections. First is the sumamry of the event with a blog about the event, secondly will list who attended and at the bottom will list information about the event location.
Summary Section:
If the event was a Milestone it will be defined at the very top and a Star will appear, followed by a summary of date, type and name of the event. To the far right will display an icon with short description of the night’s progression. The event journal gives the DMG an opportunity to recap the nights events for the rest of their realm.

Attendees:
The next section on the Event Details page is who attended and a summary of the event. If an icon appears to the left of a player name it represents the role they played in the event. So in this Example Riveni was one of 2 tanks, a note was entered that he played his Guardian class character and to the far right it shows he has attended 46 operations. Further down the list you will see we had some non-NOR guests, the notes will say the player’s name, the role they filled and “guild name” they affiliate with and any other information you would want. I will also note if you go to the bottom of a player’s member profile page it will list all the events they have attended.

Base Content:
The Base Content Information will list the bosses of the event and any other notes or links that may be important to all the many versions of “Eternity Vault”.

Realm Details
Event Types:
After selecting a Realms icon, a summary page display counting how many events have been recorded for each type of event and selecting the icon will do a filtered search of them.

Event Location Summary:
The next section itemizes every event location grouped by their event type. Also it lists the different tier versions of the location with a color-coded display of the 3 stages of progression (completed, in-progress, new). A completed state will display Green, an in-progress state will display as Yellow and everything else will show as White. This color coding will help you display the zones you have cleared or are working towards progressing through or haven’t tried yet. These can be manually reset back to yellow whenever a major game update happens, such as a new level cap or a major revamp has happened and you want to start your progression path over.

Event Log and Milestones:
After the Event location summary will show you the last three logs from the recent events so you can see the recaps of the latest events. The “Milestones” shows a new DMG timeline that has been added to the previous Guild and Realm Timeline

Event Summaries:
The Realm splash page will only show the most recent 20 or so events at the bottom of the page. However, whenever you select any of the different types of the events it will display all events of that relates to that type. If you select the base content name of a location it will show all events along with all of its tiers, and selecting just the tier will narrow it down to just that version of the location.

Customizations

Event Type:
Each Realm of the Guild can be customized to fit its flavor; content type can be renamed when creating the different kinds of events. For example, the Old Republic calls Raids = Operations and Dungeon Crawls = Flashpoints. A variety of icons are ready to choose from, or new ones can be uploaded to the site.

Progression Icons:
By default, represented by the guild’s sword, are 3 icons representing the progression of the content in your realm. New, In-progress, and Complete. However, you can add as many in-progress states as your realm needs. For example, lets say the raid has 5 bosses, and you have defeated 3 of them, then a custom progression title could be created to say “3 of 5 Defeated”.
