This fall *NOR/ will find its self shipwrecked on the supernatural island of Aeternum! It is exciting to see the guild continue to grow after 29 years. Lord Ryland will be organizing a new guild realm for the mmo “New World” https://www.newworld.com/en-us/
Lord Ryland serves on the high council currently and was duke of Everquest 2 a few years back. He brings with him 20 years of *NOR/experience to the New World game. We will get a new chat channel up and running within Discord soon, for now send @Ryland a shout to coordinate launch.
As players, old and new flock to new games, old games slowly fade away. The guild realm of Guild Wars 2 is moving to a “NOMAD” status. Meaning that all existing *NOR/members may find a guild tag there and wear it with honor, but no active officers will be managing the day to day business, so no recruiting or meetings will be held. However if an officer steps up once again to lead in the future then the branch may once can arise to “Active” status.

Dungeons & Dragons Online

A new mini-expansion has dropped for Dungeons & Dragons Online named The Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh. Located in a remote seacoast town, this revival of classic Dungeons & Dragons pen and paper content will allow players to have access to 10 new heroic level 3 and epic level 30 quests. Players can purchase different levels of this expansion pack for $20 and above in the Standing Stone Games online store. Additionally, VIP members who log in within the next couple weeks will get a free 3-hour Elixir of Discover that will boost the chance of receiving named loot when opening chests.

Things are quiet here in Tyria as we gather in mead halls and taverns recounting our legends and our fights against the dragons. But there are rumblings from the ancient land of Cantha far on the other side of the Unending Ocean. video
We will be heading to Cantha February 2022 with a bevy of new things coming with the third expansion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ilt8HPmPWnU&ab_channel=GuildWars2. Highlights that we know are coming are new elites. The new Mesmer elite, The Virtuoso, has been announced video and 2 more will be reveled on the 13th with a playable Beta live in all game types on the 17th. Reveals for all the elites along with Betas will continue in waves until November with the final Beta letting us play all the new elites along with the new mount, Siege Turtles. A 2-person mount with one person handling the turtle and the other manning the weapons on its shell. video
In addition, there will be skiffs that will let you not just explore, relax and ferry your friends across Tyria, but also fish. Yes, fishing is also coming. Catch new ingredients for your dishes and try to reel in legendary fish for events across Tyria. New strike missions as well as Alliances for WvW are also on their way.

The NOR branch looks eagerly towards the launch of Legacy of the Sith, SWTOR’s latest expansion launching soon and the kickoff of the game’s 10th Anniversary Celebrations! Legacy will bring more options to combat styles and storylines. For example, I could be a Jedi Knight and choose a Sage combat style. For those who know me well, you know where I’m going with this. If I can be a Jedi Knight and have Rescue? Ah, the shenanigans that can be had. The fun will be endless! I don’t know if that will be possible but one can dream.

New Outriders’ SWTOR branch is active with weekly operations nights and guild invasions alternating between the Republic and Sith factions. We continue to level up both guilds and take advantage of our guild perks.
Enjoy treasure hunting style of fun? Our fearless leader is always coming up with fun events and great prizes. Most recently was the “Find Muffin!” in the Rishi stronghold event, and let me tell you, that was no easy feat as Duke Intisar plays hide and seek like a pro.
