Fall is a among us so grab a book, find a cozy spot on the couch and join your fellow OutRiders for a chat in the NOR book club discord channel. This month has been the group’s third book, Philip K Dick’s “Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep” and Oct is either “Man in the High Castle” or maybe “Dracula”, it will be Halloween so we shall see:)

But hey we are gamers, so be sure to check out the NOMAD Discord channel and share your excitement and screen shots for Baldur’s Gate 3 and Starfield. As always continue to read on to hear from the leaders of our mmorpgs realms about recent game updates, events and player promotions!

In Dungeons & Dragons Online now through October 10th, all VIPs get daily gold rolls! For those of you who ever paid for the Premium subscription that DDO once had, it was the only other time gold rolls occurred daily. Daily gold rolls will grant you a multitude of opportunities to get large XP gems, statistic and skill tomes, unique pets, and amazing-looking cosmetic armors. If there was a month to sign up for a 30-day VIP subscription, this would be it!

It has been a couple of months since our last newsletter and we have done quite a lot since!

First, in July, we have become an official Duchy of the guild, so we’re in the big leagues now. If you look in your roster member profiles, you will see that you have a nice shiny new medal (NOR Meritorious Achivement Medal – Duchy) reflecting such and being with us as we built this guild up in Final Fantasy XIV.

Also, we have rounded out our officer ranks and added a DMG(Dungeon Master Group). This is being led by Count Jaylx and he is keeping his eye out for knowledgable people as far as high level content goes to fill the DMG ranks.

Patch 6.5 is almost upon us as well, this will give us a lot things that we can do along with all of the previous extreme and harder content that we have been attempting, so there will be quite a lot that we can do together before the expansion next year. In the meantime, we can build up our characters, our skills, and our gear.

Hail from Tyria. Now that the Dragon Cycle is over, it’s time to sit back, relax, & fish. Secrets of the Obscure https://www.guildwars2.com/en/secrets-of-the-obscure/ is the latest expansion to Guild Wars 2 which launched August 22. Learn the secrets behind the Wizard’s Tower which has mysteriously hung in the skies of Tyria since Guild Wars 1. Explore the Astral Ward archipelago with the chance to make a new friend. If you have not acquired a skyscale from Path of Fire, SotO offers a new way to get one of the best mounts in any MMO. In addition, new buildcraft is available,Weapon Master, where we get access to each elite’s weapon making for some exciting combinations such as the Engineer Mechanist getting access to the Engineer Scrapper’s hammer. And we get to try them out in two new Strike Missions and a new Fractal. As well new Rifts that are opening throughout not just the Astral Ward, but all of Tyria as well.

As you play, earn new rewards with the new Wizard’s Vault, unlock new armor sets, new masteries, explore the new Relic system, and more. In addition, new maps, story, Strike Missions, and even PvE acquirable Legendary Armor will be coming with future updates every quarter. Along with more SotO updates, balance updates, Halloween festival, WvW updates and more are all coming soon.

Hail*NOR/Greetings, fellow New Outriders!

Neverwinter has been a busy and exciting place with lots of events to keep everyone busy. The Summerfest just ended and now they have sent us straight to hell with the Hell Pit. They also have added a Hero’s Path to reward us for all the milestones we have achieved throughout the progression of the game.

The storyline continues in the Underdark with the release of Narbondellyn. Demonweb Pits is the latest dungeon in Neverwinter. They have provided three levels of difficulty for this dungeon. We are currently farming at an advanced level. Coming soon will be the Dungeon Delvers Delight. This event has added rewards for doing dungeons. What would a Dungeon and Dragons based game without several dungeons to complete.

You truly belong with us here among the clouds. Welcome to the cloud. Star Wars the Old Republic is in the process of moving their servers to the cloud. All three European servers have been migrated and soon the US servers (Satele Shan and Star Forge) will be migrated next. This will hopefully help to allow a dedicated company worry about the upkeep and keeping the server technology up to date while the company focuses on the game we all love. Now that EA has moved swToR to Broadsword the improvements have been rolling and rolling. Update 7.3.1 has dropped and with it has come a lot of things. There have been map changes and new items for the cartel market that are inspired by the Ahsoka series. There has been the addition of the Expatriate’s armor, lightsaber and shoto inspired by Disney’s Ahsoka, as well as the Elite tactician’s Uniform that is a Thrawn inspired uniform.

Kai Zykken has disappeared. He has been replaced on the Super Scoundrel Sunday was a success. We achieved the Corellia’s most wanted achievement. We are the most wanted on two systems. There were some shenanigans, we stalked some Sith Battlemasters while stealthed. Killed some world bosses and even got thrown around. Whee!! And some of us even spent some time in the casino. Galactic Season 5 has begun “Confidence in power.” With it there is a new change of no companion. This is a dark side centered adventure with some unusual changes to allow companion missions to be a part of the progression. There is also going to be an uptick in running larger operation groups since new galactic seasons has increased this to a weekly achievement requirement of four to complete the weekly season objective.
