Yeah.
I come check the forum whenever I put one in the oven. I may have a problem.

Re: Wiki Template for NOR Member
I created the SWTOR namespace, and got your DMG and Raid Roster pages moved.
With the name space, if you go to the site Search, and click Advanced, you'll notice that you can search the SWTOR namespace specifically if you want. That would be good for things like class guides, etc, for games that share class names, etc.

Re: Wiki Template for NOR Member
A word about Member pages:
First, there is a distinction between User pages and the Member pages we have created. The User pages are for each account holder, granted in our case the Account name and the member name is identical.
In my own case, I added content to the User page for Lasarian (the wiki account holder), AND the Member page Lasarian.
Talolan decided to redirect his User page to his Member page.
Tundrra just made a Member page but thus far left his User page blank
Poxi created a User page, but not a Member page.
Confused yet?
Put another way, the User page could just as easily be James, Bill or Sally, or whatever the RL names of the account holder's are. This would be information about the person, or account holder, on the wiki as an editor, contributor, admin, etc.
Whereas the Member page, for purposes of the NORwiki, would be more about the character, or persona, typically played by the user. In my case, Lasarian, and presumably relates more to the player's guild involvement and history. I think this becomes clearer when you consider that we might have Member pages, for example for WilhelmG who passed away in 2006, but who of course, would NOT have a User page.
This is just a heads up for people. I have no preference for how people handle their account or member pages, I'm just esplainin' the difference between the two.
Your User name information can be found by clicking the link at the very top right of the wiki, the first item in the line that includes:
Talk, Preferences, Watchlist, Contributions, Logout.
You can edit your User page just like any other. If you want to redirect your User page to your member page, like Talolan did, just add this line to your User page and save it:
Just remember to replace MemberName with the name of your Member page.
To find your Member page you can go to this link: http://newoutriders.org/wiki/index.php? ... ry:Members
It will appear if your Member page has been created or reserved for you already. If it does not appear, you can find an instance of your name in the text that is underlined and in red and that will bring you to a page where you can create it.
Alternatively, you could just type in your name after the = sign in the URL bar, thus:
If Arthur wanted to create his page, he removes whatever was after the = sign and types in his name.
If you create your Member page, don't forget to add this at the bottom:
This will add your name to the Category page for Members on the wiki.

Re: Wiki Template for NOR Member
After I did this a couple times I noticed that if we put the redirect on the member page then on the Member Category they are listed under "u" for user:Name and not alphabetically by their name. So I think the redirect should be placed on the user:name page and not the Member page.

Re: Wiki Template for NOR Member
Corrected, but Poxi appears in italics from the redirect on the category page.
It would appear the better way to do this is to redirect the User page to the Member page which has the category hook in it.

I agree. If only because that is how mine works, and I don't have to change anything. #lazyforthewinLasarian wrote:Corrected, but Poxi appears in italics from the redirect on the category page.
