That's because it is designed with moving forward in mind (as though we already had these records). Otherwise we would have a robust system for entering in old data that will eventually be obsolete. We have a number of options for adding new entries. We can add them through the Application system and even approve them from the site, skipping the email portion. We can add them primarily to the db (which I would have to do, but that's fine) or we can import them from a spreadsheet.

I realize this seems counter-intuitive, but the idea here is for the Applicant information to be automatically recorded on the Roster once their application is approved. Thus, we are keeping records of new members from day one.

If it becomes too much of a bother I may implement a rudimentary new entry system that we can just disable once we have loaded all the old data.

Question about the awards.. how do we get old awards added? I know in DAoC we had a whole bunch for various levels of Realm Rank defending the realm from evil.

Also with the Bash awards.. who actually gives those out? Should I? Aleena and I hosted a bash back in the DAoC days and I know we had a pretty good attendance?
