I beat Sokolov 2-1.

My recorder wigged out on game 3, so we don't have that.

In game 1 I played my U/N deck (which I call Illidan Stormrage) against Sokolov, he held the early lead but once we got to level 3 I had a luck advantage in card draw which put him all out on the defensive which gave me the win.

In game 2, I played my abominations deck, he lead most of the early game, but mid-game I did a good job of catching up and taking the lead, but in the end he beat me -2 to 1. It was probably the closest match either of us has played. He made a couple brilliant moves on the last two turns to stave off elimination. I had a graveborn glutton on the board, and Sokolov had 1 hp. If he killed the glutton, it would have done 2-6 damage to him, and the game would have ended. The glutton was down to just a few HP. The last two turns of the game he played a 1 attack creature against the glutton to stop it from killing him, but also not to kill it because it would have killed him. It was a really good play.

In game 3, I played my abominations deck again, this time I had better luck with my card draws and I was able to get a creature advantage on the board to coincide with a level 2 Lyria draw, which meant that I had a large on-board creature advantage that he couldn't overcome.

Sokolov has some well constructed decks, and he knows what he's doing. I think I won mostly because I had the Legendary card advantage, which is really just luck.

I beat Nimm 2-0 but they were VERY fun and close games, each game he would get me down to at least 45-50 health before I was able to even touch him. Very fun games Nimm!

There are three matches still outstanding for week 4. I'm pretty sure the Rallis/Zallis matchup not being finished is just them trolling me?
