Guild Events

Is there a guild announcement when Guild Events go on?
Or am I missing them?

Valikk and I have level 50's and would sometime like to join you all in the Dungeon night, and also in WvW!

I have been missing it the last few weeks on accident! D: Sorry!

There is the Events section on the forums, or the calendar on the Portal page.

I also try and send out Facebook reminders:). Gw2 has 3 weekly events that don't seem to change week after week:)

I have a terrible phone, not a smart phone.

And I put it here on the GW2 forums because those are the events I've been missing.
I rarely see guild chat (maybe because it's yellow and not green) or a "Hey this event is starting!"

Hey Zyera! Yes, all events are listed not only on the calendar on the first page of the forums, but I usually make a separate post under events on the forums. I also post events on the Message of the Day on our guild page in-game, as well as announce events in guild chat when they're happening. For some reason, to my dismay, people don't seem to see guild chat and I get very few responses there. I wish we could change the color to something bright which I think would help, but I've yet to find a way to change the color of any chat in-game. Right now it's a pale yellow/beige, which I think is hard to see.

At the moment all our events are weekly - so are at the same time and on the same day every week. Our Vista/Gathering Event is on Thursdays @ 5:30pm PT, our Dungeon Run is every Saturday @ 5:30pm PT, and our WvW Event is every Sunday @ 3:30pm PT. Hope to see you at one or all of these events soon!
