Happy Halloween everyone!! All the game festivities have begun and i’m seeing some great screenshots from them! I have had been able to share them on the guild’s new instagram account, so keep them coming! I wouldn’t mind seeing some boss fight clips from our raiders too:p
Adventure Quest 3D our first foray into mobile gaming is quickly building with visitors, so be sure to check out Garadian’s post below to get started there.

Our first few weeks of opening AdventureQuest 3D as a NOMAD realm has been a success so far and only getting stronger. With 9 visitors so far, we are on our way to building this game up for our mobile and tablet users, as well as it running on PC and MAC.We intend to use this Realm for guildwide events (holidays, special occasions) where guild members from across all NOR Realms can meet up to play together from time to time, plus it’s just a generally fun game to play with plenty of group content, with a very low bar to group together!
The current event is the Mogloween 2025 (Part 1) event with Fishing excursions and plenty of holiday-themed events.
Coming up soon: Mogloween Part 2 starting on the 24th, and Part 3 of Mogloween on the 31st!

Adventure Quest 3D (AQ3D)
SERVER: Red Dragon
OFFICER CONTACTS: Lord Garadian, Lord Tundrra and Lord YavoolAQ3D is the sequel to Adventure Quest (July 2002), and launched (Open Beta Oct 2016) and the guild realm was established in Oct of 2025.
The guild tag displays currently as NORXC “Expeditionary Cohort”, because it requires a 5 letter abbreviation and */ are not options currently.
To Get Started:
- Download the Game and create your account.
- Important note: If you use IOS, do not use the “Sign in with Apple” option. When transitioning over to Steam for desktop play the apple login option is not available and you will would need to create a AQ3D account regardless.
- Join the Red Dragon Server.
- In the NOMAD section of our Discord Server, tell us your player name so we can add you to our friends list. “/friend ” (Note: Both parties need to be online to be friended).
- Once you have completed the intro storyline (lvl13/14) you will reach the first public city, at that time we can send you a guild invite.
We do have a few active players and the quests are entertaining and full of puns and cultural references.
I do suggest trying this game out. The tutorial doesn’t take too long, so it’s a low bar to entry. I look forward to seeing more of you there in the near future!

The Night Revels continues! Until the end of October, this event provides adventurers with a limited-time explorer area along with numerous fun and eerie quests that grant experience points and spooky reagents that can be turned in for a variety of unique weapons, armor, and cosmetic treatments. There have been several items added to this year’s rendition of the Night Revels, including the Hag Queen’s armor set, Purple Reaper Steed, and Sentient Jewel of the Black Abbot. These items are in addition to the dozens of other items that are exclusive to the Night Revels event. The quests scale based on your character level and you can get bonus reagents by entering the quest up to five levels above your base level: for a level seven character, if you took on the quest at level twelve, they’d get 50% more reagents!There is still a week and a half left in the event, so venture over to House Jorasco to see if there are any items you can’t live without for another year!

As the veil thins and the shadows lengthen across Tamriel, the New OutRiders stand once more at the crossroads of legend and legacy. This month, two mighty forces stir: one ancient and writhing, the other spectral and mischievous. The Battle for the Writhing Wall
A new chapter unfolds in the Season of the Worm Cult. as The Writhing Wall event, which launched October 13th, beckons all servers to unite in a three-phase campaign against the Worm Cult’s corruption. From supply gathering to full-scale assault, each phase unlocks deeper access to the Eastern Solstice, a region veiled in mystery and ripe for exploration.Phase I: Rally at Stirk Fellowship or Sunport Rampart Camps. Complete daily quests to advance your server’s progress.
Phase II–III: Assault cultist strongholds, breach the Writhing Fortress, and claim rewards that echo through the annals of NOR.
Tip: Even without the 2025 Content Pass, Riders can aid the war effort and earn communal glory.The Witch’s Festival Returns
Starting on October 23rd, the Witchmother awakens once more. Her cauldron bubbles with eerie delights:
Skeleton Polymorphs: Drink from the Witchmother’s Cauldron and don your bone-bound guise.
Double XP: A 100% XP boost for everyone as long as the event lasts.
Plunder Skulls: Defeat bosses to earn these festive containers filled with alchemy reagents, Hollowjack and Dremora style items, and rare recipes.
New Rewards: Seek the Wickerchain Soul Outfit and the Wildgrown Chapel of Julianos house.To begin, complete “The Witchmother’s Bargain” quest or retrieve the Witchmother’s Whistle from the Crown Store. This should be a fun one.

As you are reading this, a weird cackle is heard on the winds, doors to strange realms appear, and the seas are flowing with candy corn as Mad King Thorn spreads his shadow over the land. It’s Halloween here in Tyria. Time to eat your fill of candy corn, open treat-or-treat bags, and hope you get more treats than tricks with a wide collection of macabre rewards for the taking. To celebrate, test your intellect in Lion’s Arch with a round of “Mad King Says…” to win keys to unlock his treasures. Test your combat skills in Mad King’s Labyrinth in battle with hordes of enemies from skeletons, and spiders, to the Grand High Viscount of Candy Corn. Just make not to get lost and say hi to Steve, the Labyrinthine Horror. Race your mounts around the Labyrinth or visit Mad King’s Raceway for time trials or head-to-head racing. Don’t worry if you don’t have mounts unlocked as rentals are available. For those with nerves of steel, challenge Mad King’s Clock Tower, the most challenging jumping puzzle. Or you can practice with the new Stopped Clock Tower version. If that’s not enough, challenge Mad King Thorn himself with 4 others in the Ascent to Madness dungeon. The NOR presence in Middle Earth is firmly established and continuing to grow.
Standing Stone Games is just about to open the Lands of the South in their upcoming release – Kingdoms of Harad. This expansion will increase the level cap in Lord of the Rings Online to an impressive 160. We are looking forward to this impressive expansion. After all, this is the home of the Oliphants the Haradrim rode into the Battle for Minas Tirith. – “No one at home will believe this.” – Samwise Gamgee
This year’s Harvestmath Festival began October 9 and will continue through November 2 (ending early morning on the 3rd). Travel to Wistmead (a land only available during the festival) to walk through the Wheat Maze, where the path through will change regularly during the festival. Play ‘tricks’ on NPCs in Bree, Duilland, Thorins Hall and The Shire. Listen to, and participate in, Bingo Boffin’s Story. Run the Festival’s horse races in Bree and the Shire. And try to best the members of the Inn League or Ale Association in drinking contests. Join us while there is still time!
We look forward to everyone joining us in Middle Earth – as visitors or as immigrants – even if it is only for the festivities. Have a pint in The Prancing Pony, listen to the Minstrels playing their tunes in the streets of Bree, or dance under the Party Tree.

🛡️ Mod 31.5: Slaughterhouse Arena, Illusions, and PvP Revival The latest update has dropped, and it’s a game-changer. Mod 31.5 introduces the Slaughterhouse Arena in Thay, a brutal new battleground where glory awaits the bold. Whether you’re a seasoned PvPer or just dipping your toes into competitive combat, this arena offers fresh gear, illusion-themed rewards, and a leaderboard system for Master content that’ll keep you coming back for more. Highlights:
• New Arena Mode: Fight in Thay’s Slaughterhouse for prestige and prizes.

🎭 Masquerade of Liars: October 24 – November 7 It’s that time of year when masks come out and mischief reigns! The Masquerade of Liars returns to Protector’s Enclave, offering daily quests, faction contests, and festive chaos.Event Features:
• Liar’s Charms: Earn them by defeating monsters or adventuring in Sword Coast dungeons.
• Masquerade Tokens: Trade charms with illusionists for tokens, then shop the Event Store for costumes, companions, and more.
• Contest of Liars: Choose your faction—three teams are vying for dominance. This year, the oldest team steps aside to make room for a new contender: Denizens of the Deep, led by the eerie Lloogoon. Guild Challenge: Represent New Outriders by joining the faction of your choice and racking up points. Let’s make our presence known!

The truest way to win a battle is without having to fight. Why not blow them up? Currently that has reached an all new high! We have a three way tie between Squire Caboose, Grandee Davkair and Marquis Quielin at 6 people exploded at one time from the Quesh boss.
There has been some progress towards the veteran mode progression raiding of “The Nature of Progress Operation” and the guild has cleared the third fight of the operation soundly. This is the first time since Duke Intisar has been in charge of raiding that we have cleared this fight. The next fight has some very interesting gaming mechanics that may make for some very fun times and titles. We have also taken Marquis Quielin into Dread Fortress Veteran mode for the first time complete with his very own Corruptor Blade as a trophy. We have been enjoying visiting some of the content that some returning guildmates have not had the privilege of clearing. We have a solid group of veteran raiders that make pretty clean work of most bosses. A special thank you goes out to all of them past and present. You have all done an exemplary job of helping your fellow NORbies and you should all be proud of this achievement.Tis the season for feasting. The Feast of Prosperity has returned. With it there is cooking, fighting and travel as with all good holidays. With the Feast also comes the NOR SwTOR Halloween Spooktacular!! Please join us for this years Spooktacular celebration Sunday October 26th on the Spooky Sith side. We will be travelling to far away places and enjoying tricks and treats along the way. Everyone is welcome as long as you have your spaceship unlocked for your character. Dressing up in game is not required, but is encouraged.
