“I think Nick Fury just hijacked our summer vacation.” – Spider-Man: Far from Home

Thankfully no one hijacked the New Outriders SwTOR summer extravaganza. What could be more fun than running around the galaxy blasting things into oblivion you ask? How about if everyone decided to run around kung fu fighting throughout the galaxy? Yes, you guessed it. Everybody was Kung Fu fighting! We started off with a visit to our Rishi stronghold (a personal favorite of mine, though I may be partial to some of the décor,) and began with an all out brawl in the PVP area. Everyone versus Intisar. It was a heated competition to see who would pull out the killing blow and you guessed it gentle reader, it was none other than yours truly Gonzo. We then travelled to Dromund Kaas to battle ‘The First’ as well as run around killing some named mobs to get the achievement ‘Tyrant of Dromund Kaas.

It was an awesome turn out, though we were hassled by a bug that is being patched Wednesday that prevented some of us from obtaining the achievement. The patch will fix that and allow those of us who did not get the achievement to receive credit. Then we got a little crazy and decided on SwTOR’s version of popcorn and you guessed it, with no weapons. We fought the Rogue Cartel Warboss and now have a new reigning popcorn champion with 11 people exploded. Congratulations Cheysa!

We have now discovered that FR3-DOM will no longer one shot kill you if you are over level 60 when you walk into their arena. We would like to add a special thank you to Champion Amp for organizing some group activities to help with the reputation on Dantooine. This was a little rough at first as we all got used to navigating through this very hostile environment. This reputation is not easy to come by as you take damage unless you gain reputation and are allowed to buy a buff on planet.
