Elder Scrolls Online: PvP Guidelines
Hail, *NOR/!
As we carve our path through Tamriel, we strive to maintain both camaraderie and honorable competition within our ranks. To ensure a balanced and enjoyable experience for all, I am laying down a few essential PvP guidelines that apply to Cyrodiil and other conflict zones.
Cross-Alliance Conduct
While Cyrodiil thrives on faction warfare, we do not allow guildmates to hunt each other across alliances unless it is part of an officially sanctioned event. This means:
- No targeting fellow guild members for personal gain or amusement.
- Official PvP events may include inter-guild war games, structured duels, or coordinated faction fights; these will be clearly communicated ahead of time.
- If accidental engagements occur, prioritize disengaging rather than escalating.
Multi-Guild PvP Precautions
We recognize that many players are part of multiple guilds, spanning various alliances. To help prevent unwanted encounters during PvP engagements, I strongly recommend the following:
- Set yourself to ‘Invisible (offline status)’ in the guild or friend menu when participating in PvP events. This prevents other members from tracking your location in Cyrodiil.
- If you’re running with another guild for a PvP event, communicate with our leadership if there are potential cross-alliance engagements.
- Be mindful of accidental encounters and prioritize communication over retaliation.
Our goal is to foster a community that supports each other in both cooperative and competitive play. Let’s keep the battles intense, but always honorable. If you have questions or concerns, reach out to the guild officers.
Happy hunting and may the Divines guide your blade!
Lord Garadian,
