Hail*NOR/
If you are in the mood to kill some dragons, Neverwinter is the place. Dragon hunts continue. Rothe Valley is now back in Neverwinter. The devs are working on bringing back areas that had been removed and streamlining your leveling experience to get everyone to the endgame content.
Neverwinter Recruitment is going on, which makes it a great time to join and level new characters in Neverwinter. They give you rewards at different levels such as bags, bank slots, mounts and enchantments. As a new player those are very helpful incentives.
*NOR/ is in a strong alliance where we have weekly alliance activities. We have now added Dragonflight in the Stronghold as well as Marauders that we have every Saturday night. Coming soon the hell pit will be returning.
Hopefully we will see you soon.

Come one, come all, to brave the Hardcore server, where with every misstep, the Land of the Lost Souls becons you. Bring your best build, play cautiously and carefully, and be willing to take risks for fame and glory! This season is an especially hard season, as there are magical beasts in the form of hounds that hunt you, magnify a specific type of damage against you, and have been the cause of thousands of deaths thus far on the Hardcore server. When a hound arrives within your quest, it is in the best interest of all to focus all efforts to defeat it before it defeats you.
Hardcore Season 6 ends on October 24th; there is still plenty of time to achieve your goals and strive towards the unique accolades that the Hardcore server brings!
See you in-game!

- 085*NOR/news Guild Wars 2by Sofija

Hail*NOR/!
It’s been too long since our last communication. But with Guild Wars 2 celebrating its 10th anniversary, there are big things happening in Tyria.
Since our last newsletter from Tyria, we had our 3rd expansion, End of Dragons. https://www.guildwars2.com/en/end-of-dragons/ . This took us to land of Cantha which had been closed off for over 200 years. We got 4 new maps, a mega-meta event ending with the most challenging world boss yet along with 9 new elite specs, a new 2-person mount (the Siege Turtle), and new mastery lines including fishing, skiffs and the adorable Jade Bot. We also claimed a new guild hall in Isle of Reflection.
We are also in the middle of finally being able to relive the events of Living World Season 1. https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/living-world-return-season-1-begins-now/ Previously unplayable due to the nature of its original release, we can now revisit our first meetings of what will become Dragon’s Watch as well as deal with Scarlet Briar and her machinations across Tyria and its devastating effects. This is free for all accounts with a new set of achievements for those who were there when it was live and those who get to experience it now for the first time.
The biggest news is that in celebration of 10 years of Guild Wars 2, you can now visit Tyria for free with Steam! https://www.guildwars2.com/en/news/studio-update-guild-wars-2-tenth-anniversary-and-steam-launch-on-august-23/ And with the Steam release comes some great new improvements to help make your first visit one to remember. The core game is free and all expansions and Living World Seasons are available in one easy package. There is a revamp to the leveling progression with achievements that are designed to help you learn the game. An option to try out the raptor mount at level 10 for free-to-play and permanent once you buy one of the expansions. Currencies are streamlined, new options to help those interested in raiding, rework of World Bosses, and so much more. And that’s not all! By completing events, leveling characters, and just playing the game, you can earn Proofs of Legend which will help unlock a 10th anniversary armor set. And just for linking your Twitch account with your Guild Wars 2 account (through ArenaNet or Steam), you can earn in-game drops just for watching any streamer tagged with Guild Wars 2. Some great streamers to watch are Mukluk, MightyTeaPot, Laranity, Vallun, and more.
So come and join us as we explore a post End of Dragons world and get ready for the next Living World Season coming soon and the 4th expansion which they’ve already announced they are working on. Please use our DIS-CORD golem to see announcements as they come in on our #announcement channel. Discussions, questions, and other ramblings can be found in #guildhall and our Fashion Wars wins and other screenshots in #gallery. And don’t forget our #spoilers channel where we post our theories and speculations as well as other spoiler-y talk. Until we share our legends again, may your mugs be full of ale and your hunts honorable.

The tabletop realm of the guild celebrates 6 years of weekly D&D gaming next month and it has been a blast! Lasarian recently brought a few long time members (Koram and Khaie) back into the fold with a new Monday night session, exploring Greyhawk. The Wednesday night game is finishing up a run through the module “Ghosts of Saltmarsh” with Kermit behind the DM screen!

Earlier this month members of the Wednesday night game packed their families into planes, trains and automobiles and traveled across country to the north western area of Wisconsin for a week of lake fun and most importantly gaming…and it was AMAZING! 7 days of dungeon and dragons, board games, canoeing and jet sking….and the food oh man /mmmm
I want to give a huge thank you to Stelmari, Lasarian and Talolan for organizing the week long trip! It is always amazing to meet the people behind the avatars. This guild over the years continues to amaze me about how awesome you all are, thank you!

The continuing adventures of Legacy of the sith(LOTS)… LOTS of SWTOR 7.1.a has given us an update to gearing changes. Special thanks to guildmate Alaer for the amazing guide which explains how to get the final quest and understanding how the gearing system works. We also dig deeper into the Mannan daily area which offers a new planet with some challenging and new areas of the water world to explore. There is a new faction to gain influence with (the Mannan Incorporation Project) that give new weapons, armor, pets and decorations.
We have dipped our toes into the new R-4 operation which has proven to be a challenge and everyone is having fun getting to know the new mechanics for this fight. The story of Sa’har Kateen continues as a new short story has been posted by the developers and writers. Nar Shaddaa Nightlife is in full swing. Complete with new items from the casinos to include new pets, mounts and weapons.
We continue to grow in SWTOR and have fun runs every Sunday night at 8PM EST, with the exception of the first weekend of the month when we run at 1PM EST. We said goodbye to game developer Charles Boyd as he moves on with his career and Have welcomed Ashley Ruhl as the new Narrative Director and Caitlin Sullivan Kelly as the new Lead Writer. We have seen work from them in the past, and are looking forward to where they will progress with SWTOR. The SWTOR teams has made many quality of life improvements to include UI and chat changes.
