Hail*NOR/
The snow has arrived, and the holidays are here, marking the year’s close. I want to express my deepest gratitude to all our dedicated officers who tirelessly contributed to the creation of this newsletter and running the realms throughout the year. A special thank you goes to Lord Garadian, who has made significant efforts to expand the guild’s presence in new realms this year. Additionally, I want to extend an even greater appreciation to all our members who have been with us for countless years and have participated in countless games. It’s an honor to have such a wonderful community.
Happy Holidays!
Lord Tundrra

Hail*NOR/ Happy Feast of Prosperity and happy Life day!!
We have reached the final article of the year (also know in another worlds lore as “filling up the corners.”) This has been a crazy year for SwTOR. We have seen many graphical improvements and modernizations in game, the introduction of date nights in SwTOR, and new stronghold, we have enjoyed the addition of a spring event, grown our alliances with other guilds and done some truly massive adventures with upwards of 40 plus people playing in an event at one time. We have also welcomed back Twitch drops. Duke Intisar himself has lent his talents to streaming during this time to allow everyone the joy of watching us in all our glorious shenanigans and to earn the time needed for the Twitch speeder. Our Halloween extravaganza was pure electric fun with Super Sorc Sunday seeing a pun of leg pulling…. Wait, a ton of Intisar pulling…. Rescue’s galore!!! We had a sneak event of an officers versus guild battle on the planet of Iokath, and had a ton of fun dashing around the galaxy and just causing pure havoc!!
SwTOR presented their livestream on Tuesday November 14th. With the livestream they announced more Twitch drops. This will be the norm going forward for all live streams. There will be a one hour drop starting on the day of the live stream and a four hour drop on the day of the patch. These drops will be live for 14 days. The current drops are artwork of Illum and an Amethyst Vulptilla mount (Let’s go Team Purple!!) The storyline will not be progressing with 7.6. It is being delayed with no definite release date for the story. Patch 7.6 will go live on Life Day December 10th. Yes, that is right, Life day is back and starting on December 10th. There will be a new mount for lifeday the GIF7 mount. There will be new lifeday outfits, and the next batch of “Best view in SwTOR” winners will be available as decorations for your stronghold. The Cartel Market will have new items based on the upcoming Star Wars Skeleton Crew show with the Mysterious Rogue armor and hairstyles inspired by the show. There will be a “Remote trading outpost” bundle with two sets of decorations; one neglected and one repaired version, it will also include 2 minipets and a quest to repair the items. With the new decoration bundle there will be a new stronghold hook layout for the new decoration. Last but definitely not least will be the “Master the Fight” bundle that will include 180 days subscription, 600 cartel coins a month, 5500 cartel coins, 5 primary and 5 secondary metallic dyes, the Vectron 240R Starbolt mount that includes a speed boost and is available for use at level 1.
SwTOR will be introducing dynamic encounters starting on Hoth and Tatooine. These encounters will reward the Hidden Chan and Electric Gaze outfits, a loth cat pet, and 2 new mounts. The Desert Sand and Frozen Peaks mounts will have a special new addition to allow your companions and pets to be passengers. There will be a subscriber reward for anyone subbed for the time of November 29th to January 4 of the Meirin Cicada that will also allow passengers. A new lair boss is being introduced of the XR-53 that has been affectionately referred to as Lieutenant Dan currently. The public test server is currently live and will award titles and classic mounts for helping with testing. 25 dynamic encounters on either Hoth or Tatooine for either pub side or imperial will award the amazing M-85 and M-90 log mounts. PVP Season 7 “Path to Mastery” will start with the release of the new patch and continue for 16 weeks. This will have some changes with it starting with Warzone grouping being limited to 4 people down from 8. This is in an effort to prevent premade groups coordinating and devastating the competition. The spoils of war level 75 armor set bonus has been disabled, and new rewards will include the ability to earn a new emote of honorable bow, a new legacy title of pathfinder, and master of paths title as well as a Meta title of seeker. The seasonal vendor has been updated with new armors and the new season 7 trophy will be available in small and extremely large versions.
The development team is also getting closer to a Mac launcher. They believe soon they will be able to release this for testing on a small or large scale. And the final news from the development team was more graphics modernizations. They have improved graphics for characters starting with human, cyborg, Chiss, Miralukan, Mirialan, Togrutta, Rattataki and Zabrak. And, last but definitely not least. There will be a character name reset. If you have any characters that you have not played but wish to ensure you keep your name, you will need to log in with each of your characters on each server they are on to maintain the names before December 10th when the patch goes live. However, if you are subscribed then all of your characters are automatically having their names reserved. This is quite a beefy update with a ton of stuff to look forward to. We hope you have a wonderful Feast of Prosperity, Life Day, and all the holidays that you celebrate during this season.

Hail *NOR/!
In an attempt to address the ever-present game lag that Dungeons & Dragons Online has battled against during its eighteen years of existence, the developers of DDO have created a new 64-bit server named Cormyr. Until January 21st, 2025, VIP members may create characters and participate in the “Lanterns in the Mist” event. The premise of the event is that you are battling randomly occurring (usually once per quest) “Mist Stalkers” that manifest in various forms. Defeating the Mist Stalkers will grant you soul essences that fill up the durability of one of five lanterns (Thresh, anyone?) When you fill the durability of a lantern completely, you can turn it in to get a unique account reward that is only available during this event.
Players have the option to play in Hardcore mode, where if you die, you lose your lanterns until you reincarnate, or in Non-hardcore mode, which allows you to die without losing the progress on your lanterns. Whichever path you choose, you will be challenged as you climb levels and defeat the onslaught of ever-strengthening Mist Stalkers!
For more information, check the link below:
Please note that *NOR/ will not have a guild presence on Cormyr, as our home server is and will remain Ghallanda.
See you in-game!
