Season 9 of DDO’s Hardcore Season will wrap up on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. It is not too late to create a character and get some renown; by doing so, you will gain bonus DDO Points for free for every 100 renown favor points you gain additional DDO Point bonuses at certain renown landmarks. DDO has released its plan for 2024 and it does not include another Hardcore season this year, so for those of you who wish to experience DDO’s premier permadeath server, this is your last chance!

Happy New Year!
It has been a very eventful year so far! I would first like to give a BIG thank you to Marquis Garadian for all of the hard work and heart he has put in over the past year to build the FFXIV Realm. You are the reason the branch exists today and we wouldn’t be here without you. Thank you for bringing us all together, and trusting us to continue on what you have started. Sunday fishing trips and events won’t be the same without you!
I would also like to say thank you to Count Chazore and all of the Officers for all of their support with the new change. We are lucky to have such an amazing group of people, and I appreciate everything you do.
A lot has happened in Final Fantasy XIV since the beginning of January. With the release of Growing Light patch 6.55 came new main story content as well as a new trial and upgrade for Manderville relic weapons. They have also added new tribal alliance and Tataru’s grand endeavor quests. This patch completes post-Endwalker content and gets us excited for Dawntrail, the new expansion coming out this summer! The Moogle Treasure Trove event is coming up and runs from January 30th to March 11th where we will be able to earn irregular tomestones of genesis and turn them in for some great rewards.
In other news, our dungeon master group has resumed with weekly savage raids after taking a break over the holidays. We hope to make good progress before the release of the next expansion.
We continue to host events on Tuesdays and Thursdays as well as ocean fishing on Sundays. As always, we are keeping an eye out for new recruits as we continue to grow the FFXIV Realm!

Neverwinter has set off in space with the Spelljammer mod. We are helping the Moondancer and its crew with the new 10 man trial Defense of the Moondancer. We have joined forces with our alliance to defeat this trial. We have been hosting training runs to progress through endgame content. We would love for new and returning players to join us in defeating Space Elves.
There are several new updates to make all the classes more relevant. So no matter what you like to play such as tank, heal, caster or melee. There is something for everyone.
While there is always campaigns to complete. They have battle passes and events to give you the opportunity to update your character. So come join us in Neverwinter for some fun and adventures.

Hoping everyone had a wonderful Life day and is having a happy new year!! It has been a while and we are all starting to get back into the swing of things. January brings us into update 7.4b and with it a number of bug fixes that include missions, map/HUD fixes and several fixes to the Galactic Trade Network (auction house,) and many more. The pirate incursion is in full swing, and NOR has gotten back into Operations.
Galactic Season 4 “Confidence in Power” has come to a close and the PVP season is also getting ready to draw to a close. The SWTOR branch has developed a good group of PVPer’s that are both competitive and helpful and we love company.
Coming up, Broadsword will be giving a Valentines day live stream to us from the Dev’s. SWTOR recently opened a new Asian/Pacific server that is popular with many people in the Australian area and overseas. NOR has opened a chapter on this server to ensure we have as great a presence as possible in game with the most options for members. SWTOR will soon be providing character transfers for this server with restrictions. There will be some requirements for this. A minimum character level must be achieved (more details to be revealed at a later date,) you must be a subscriber for at least 90 days prior to transfer, and there will be a credit transfer cap as well to ensure the fresh economy does not get exploited.
