Secrets of the Obscure https://www.guildwars2.com/en/secrets-of-the-obscure/ is the latest expansion to Guild Wars 2 which launched August 22. Learn the secrets behind the Wizard’s Tower which has mysteriously hung in the skies of Tyria since Guild Wars 1. Explore the Astral Ward archipelago with the chance to make a new friend. If you have not acquired a skyscale from Path of Fire, SotO offers a new way to get one of the best mounts in any MMO. In addition, new buildcraft is available,Weapon Master, where we get access to each elite’s weapon making for some exciting combinations such as the Engineer Mechanist getting access to the Engineer Scrapper’s hammer. And we get to try them out in two new Strike Missions and a new Fractal. As well new Rifts that are opening throughout not just the Astral Ward, but all of Tyria as well.
As you play, earn new rewards with the new Wizard’s Vault, unlock new armor sets, new masteries, explore the new Relic system, and more. In addition, new maps, story, Strike Missions, and even PvE acquirable Legendary Armor will be coming with future updates every quarter. Along with more SotO updates, balance updates, Halloween festival, WvW updates and more are all coming soon.
