    Hail *NOR/!

Dungeons & Dragons Online is currently celebrating its 16th Anniversary!  Come celebrate with the New OutRiders  by running the special anniversary party quest, collecting party favors, and turning the favors in for unique and powerful cosmetics and items, respectively.   Additionally, once a day you can get a colorful outfit from the anniversary djinn (bound to account) and get the accompanying mask via the party favor items vendor.

Hardcore Season V is officially over; now is the time to begin preparing your perfect build to battle the permadeath experience of Season VI set to come out the second quarter of 2022.  Hopefully the devs will through a wrinkle of difficulty in the season like they have in the past with especially-powerful champions as well as mimics!

    See you in-game!

  • 081*NOR/News Neverwinter

    Hail*NOR/!

Neverwinter has been undergoing some big and exciting changes. The latest mod Dragonbone Vale has offered a new questing area and 10 man dungeon. The questing area has 3 areas that are graphically beautiful with challenging mobs. There are heroic encounters and more challenging mobs that drop very useful gear to help players get ready for the endgame content.

Outside of the new area they have streamlined the questing for new players to make starting out the game a clear straight shot to be able to get to endgame content. Reaching max level is just the beginning for Neverwinter players though.

The enchanting system has changed in Neverwinter so this is offering new and old players a new challenge in building their characters. Once you max your enchantments (mythic level) up they can become account wide so you will be able to get that enchant on every character you make. Once you do the work it makes alts easier to maintain and all your toons are ready for the endgame content.

I encourage everyone to give Neverwinter a try.

  • Intisar’s Quick and Dirty Guide to Preparing for Legacy of the Sith
    075 swtor
    1. Catch up on the story. There doesn’t seem to be an option to skip to LotS to start, so if you want to jump into the new content, you’ll need to finish up Onslaught first.
    2. Think about Tech Fragments. Starting next week Tech Frags will primarily be used to buy Implants with “set bonuses” and Tacticals. While Implants will be new, all Tacticals are available now. If you’re thinking about taking advantage of Combat Styles to try a new spec or class, and you’ve already got Tech Frags, you can buy the Tacticals you’ll want right now. I don’t think you need to max out your Tech Fragments, since you won’t be able to buy Implants immediately, but having a stash ready for when you do hit level 80 can’t hurt.
    3. Clear out you cargo bays and open your Renown boxes. Unless you want them for looks, you won’t need any excess Sha-tek, Onderon or random set gear you might have saved. Feel free to vend them or grind them into Tech Frags. Renown box will be empty come 7.0, so I definitely recommended clearing them out while you still can! Weekly caches that we receive as quest rewards from Operations, the Group Finder and Weeklies apparently contain 5 Tech Frags each if you wait to open them next week.
    4. Avoid spoilers! I imagine dataminers will be able to see the patch data starting this weekend, so watch out for killjoys looking to spoil your experience of the story.
    5. Do nothing. Honestly, you’ll be fine if you just log on whenever you like next week and just get going. In 7.0 we will be overflowing with Tech Frags before long, so any head start you get from prepping won’t make that big a difference. NOR will continue to host group runs to help folks gear up and get complete those pesky weeklies and achievements. I feel like NOR had a successful Onslaught and I want to thank everyone who came out and had fun with us. I look forward to seeing what we do next in Legacy of the Sith.

Oh, just saw a good tip from Swtorista. SAVE YOUR AUGMENTS! Especially if you have purple and gold ones. We won’t have new augments for a bit, so the old ones will still be useful.
