Guinness World Record Progress
Starting from oldest to newest, the various sources and links to our oldest online records. The guild was formed in late 1992, however finding records that long ago is difficult, due to the rapid change in technology.
Currently the Guinness Record is awarded to the The Syndicate, who has proven their establishment sometime in 1996 for the Longest Running Online Gaming Guild. Our earliest records put us 2 years earlier. Longest running online gaming guild | Guinness World Records
Starting with the oldest 3rd party documentation was a monthly newsletter put out by the software company Imagination Network, we were in several issues under the MedievalLands classified/Calendar section:
