Welcome from Tyria. We’ve just been here working on getting that perfect tan on the beaches of Castora as we prepare for the next story expansion coming February 3rd. With the new expansion comes a host of new things coming. We’ll be getting a new Raid encounter along with unifying Raids and Strikes with the new Quickplay which has been in beta for several months for Fractals. Strikes are designed to be a gateway to raids offering the same level of skill and coordination but limited to just the boss fight. No mobs to get through or multiple bosses to deal with. With the unification of Strikes and Raids along with the Quickplay option, it’ll make it easier to find groups to tackle this challenging end-game content. We hope to see some fellow NOR come and show bear your strength in taking on these challenges.
In addition, Fashion Templates are coming allowing you to easily switch your look depending on your mood, season, or to simply look your best at all times. Till then, we’ve just finished the Fractal Rush bonus event and from January 20th to the 27th will be the WvW Rush bonus event. The perfect time to get those Gift of Battles for those Gen 1 legendaries. Before the holiday break, ArenaNet shared a ton of great news. Visions of Eternity has outperformed Janthir Wilds seeing more people join than at any point since GW2’s Steam release in 2022. This can be seen in player activity higher now than its been in years. And this last year marked the 25th anniversary of ArenaNet.
