Hail*NOR/
“Save the Rebellion! Save the dream.” – Saw Gerrera. The dream has finally been saved, well somewhat. A contract has been signed and video game actors can get back to work doing what they love! And we love that! Speaking of things we love, we have seen the addition of new faces to the guild and with that comes the introduction to our shenanigans.
We have taken tours of the world bosses and defeated and demoralized them in our own fashion. Sometimes that includes following the fight mechanics, but most times it means a total disregard for mechanics, and safety. OSHA would hate us, and it is so much fun! We have also revisited God from the Machine. This is one of the complicated by fun raids and we have enjoyed sharing this with our new members.
Update 7.7 has dropped, and with it new dynamic encounters on worlds. Taylor Swift has come to SwTor…. Wait, I mean we have joined the Era’s tour… Nope. But, Eras has come to SwTor. Do you have a hard time remembering where you left of with one or thirty of your characters? Never fear the new Eras window will bring you up to speed quickly and with little hassle. This is an in game window designed for this exact reason.
The development team is still working diligently on modernization. They has added many new skins to the game for Cathar, Chiss, Mirialan, Nautolan, Sith, Togruta and Twi’lek characters. Lastly if you have ever wanted one of the cool Holo-Rancor mounts, you have until June 25th to watch 5 hours of live swToR content on Twitch. Just make sure you have linked your account. You can do this from the swToR website under my account.Baron Gonzowill

Hail *NOR/!
As the newest expansion, “Seasons of the Worm Cult”, went live on June 2, we find ourselves in the newest expansion zone, Solstice, where the air crackles with mystery and possibility, never mind that pesky wall that we’ll start working toward removing soon!It has been a very busy time for the Elder Scrolls Online NOR branch. Event participation has surged, our Discord is filled with members, and the Order continues to grow stronger with each trial, dungeon, shared laugh, and triumph earned together.
One of the pillars of our recent success has been our NORbies incredible commitment to showing up for events. Whether it’s Trials, PvE adventures, or just hanging out to share builds and war stories, your presence brings life to this guild in ways that no expansion ever could.
A special and sincere thank you goes out to Squire Ellanen for leading our Friday Night Trials with unwavering focus, patience, knowledge, and good humor. Week after week, you’ve created a space where players of all skill levels can learn, grow, and challenge themselves. It is more than just completing the trial that matters (though we have been hugely successful at it so far!), it is the camaraderie we share in while attempting to do so, and I think I speak for everyone when I say that we are all grateful for it.
To those who consistently attend and fill our groups with energy and skill, the patience to listen, and the strength to work hard, thank you for being the lifeblood of those nights.
We also have cause for celebration. A heartfelt congratulations to our new Squires: Calico the Smart, Balmo Valerian and Purpose on completing their induction ceremonies. You’ve all shown the spirit and resolve that NOR strives for and I am proud to see you step forward into the next chapter of life in our guild.
And let’s not forget the newest Knights among our ranks. Xirrasha, Dave-stp, and Paracelsus, your promotions are well-earned, reflecting both your contributions in-game and your presence in our guild. May your tabards be ever clean, and your weapons ever sharp. You have all been great assets to our guild with your group leadership and I greatly appreciate it!
Lastly, as a message to our newest recruits, welcome to the New OutRiders! This is a guild where involvement isn’t just encouraged, it’s how we grow strong and active together. So, make sure to participate in events, speak up in Discord, and let us get to know you. Earning your place as a Squire isn’t about just having your name on the roster. It’s about becoming a part of something larger, something shaped by everyone who rides under our banner. We’re excited to see what you’ll bring to the Order.
As Solstice opens before us over this next year, may the light guide our path, and may we continue to ride as one.
Curious. Bold. And always ready to lift each other up.

Aim for the stars and hit the sky!

Hail *NOR/!
The New OutRiders Dungeons & Dragons Online branch is recruiting! For guildies and gamers unfamiliar with DDO, the DDO is now in its 19th year, is inspired and operates on the classic 3.5 rules version of Dungeons & Dragons, utilizes the Eberron campaign on the continent of Xen’drik as its main inspiration, was the tip of the spear of the free-to-play movement in 2009 and beyond, and has a dedicated staff of developers who have a strong vision for the game moving forward. DDO offers great character customization; nearly every race and class that D&D has; and most unique and powerful, a high level of “twitch” control of your character akin to games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), Fortnite, Apex, and Overwatch 2. This means that you can leap over an incoming fireball, tumble out of the way of a lightning bolt, and evade traps and other pitfalls. Dungeons & Dragons Online isn’t your typical two-dimensional click-and-wait MMORPG!
Dungeons & Dragons Online utilizes enhancement trees that offer amazing customization of each character you build. Each class provides three standard enhancement trees which can mean the difference for the rogue class, for example, between being a quarterstaff-wielding acrobat; a stealthy dagger-wielding assassin; or a specialized locksmith and trap maker. These class-based enhancements are augmented with racial enhancement trees as well as universal enhancement trees that can further hone and specialize your player character. A valuable aspect Dungeons & Dragons Online provides is that dungeon masters can gain inspiration from the 794 available quests and 52 wilderness explorer areas for their own pen and paper Dungeons & Dragons campaigns! Some of my favorite quests that translate well to pen and paper include The Lost Seekers quest arc (L3-4), Redwillow’s Ruins (L6), Invaders! (L12), the Desecrated Temple of Vol (L14), and The Shroud (L17). DDO also has released expansions that have brought fan favorites of pen and paper into MMO form, including Keep on the Borderlands (L1-2; epic L21-22), White Plume Mountain and Other Tales (L6-9; epic L21-32); and Mists of Ravenloft (L10-12; epic L31-32).
To see our recruitment page on the DDO forums, please click the link below. This will give you a resource to be able to share with your friends and family so that they can try the game out and also apply to be a recruit with the *NOR/DDO branch of the New OutRiders. forums.ddo.com/-join-us
