Specialty PvP Events: General Guide

New OutRiders: Specialty PvP Nights Guide

Overview

In addition to Battlegrounds, Cyrodiil, and Imperial City, the New OutRiders Guild can host **special PvP nights** featuring unique formats designed for variety, competition, and fun. These events provide structured environments for all skill levels while ensuring fair matchups.

The following PvP formats can rotate into our schedule periodically, allowing members to experience different combat styles, strategies, and challenges.

Event Format Examples and Options

  • Arena Free-for-All: Individual combat in a structured arena setting.
  • Class Wars: Restricted PvP battles where only one class is allowed (e.g., Nightblade vs. Nightblade).
  • Noob Wars: PvP exclusively for characters below level 50.
  • Last NOR Standing: A single participant faces off against increasingly difficult opponents.
  • Faction Fight Nights: Structured guild battles where teams fight for dominance in controlled environments.

Arena Free-for-All

  • Format: 1v1 or Last Man Standing free-for-all in a selected PvP location.
  • Faction Rules: No alliance restrictions, pure individual combat.
  • Objective: Players compete until only one remains undefeated.
  • Location: Open dueling areas or guild hall arenas.

Example Scenario:
Players enter an enclosed dueling area and take turns fighting in **single-elimination matchups**. The final two survivors duel in the championship round.

Class Wars

  • Format: Class-specific PvP where only one class can participate (e.g., Sorcerer-only fights).
  • Faction Rules: No alliance restrictions and fights are class-based.
  • Objective: Determine which class specialists perform best in structured battles.
  • Location: Open dueling areas or controlled Cyrodiil locations.

Example Scenario:
A **Dragonknight-only tournament** where all players must compete using **standardized gear and skills** within a closed arena.

Noob Wars

  • Format: PvP battles restricted to characters **below level 50**.
  • Faction Rules: No alliance restrictions—only low-level combatants.
  • Objective: Provide newer players or alternate characters a fair fighting chance.
  • Location: Battlegrounds, Cyrodiil, or dueling locations.

Example Scenario:
All participants must enter Battlegrounds or Cyrodiil with **non-CP characters** to ensure **skill-based fights rather than stat gaps**.

Last NOR Standing

  • Format: A single player faces off against increasingly difficult opponents.
  • Faction Rules: No restrictions—players must survive as long as possible.
  • Objective: Determine who can last the longest in consecutive PvP fights.
  • Location: Arena-style locations or controlled dueling areas.

Example Scenario:
A single participant fights **three opponents at once**—if they win, they continue fighting new challengers until defeated.

Faction Fight Nights

  • Format: Organized guild battles with assigned faction teams.
  • Faction Rules: Players commit to a team for the event.
  • Objective: Encourage structured PvP combat with team-based tactics.
  • Location: Cyrodiil strongholds or controlled PvP locations.

Example Scenario:
Guild officers divide members into **two opposing squads**. Each group fights over a designated battlefield until one side is victorious.
