As you are reading this, a weird cackle is heard on the winds, doors to strange realms appear, and the seas are flowing with candy corn as Mad King Thorn spreads his shadow over the land. It’s Halloween here in Tyria. Time to eat your fill of candy corn, open treat-or-treat bags, and hope you get more treats than tricks with a wide collection of macabre rewards for the taking. To celebrate, test your intellect in Lion’s Arch with a round of “Mad King Says…” to win keys to unlock his treasures. Test your combat skills in Mad King’s Labyrinth in battle with hordes of enemies from skeletons, and spiders, to the Grand High Viscount of Candy Corn. Just make not to get lost and say hi to Steve, the Labyrinthine Horror. Race your mounts around the Labyrinth or visit Mad King’s Raceway for time trials or head-to-head racing. Don’t worry if you don’t have mounts unlocked as rentals are available. For those with nerves of steel, challenge Mad King’s Clock Tower, the most challenging jumping puzzle. Or you can practice with the new Stopped Clock Tower version. If that’s not enough, challenge Mad King Thorn himself with 4 others in the Ascent to Madness dungeon.
