Summer is coming to an end with the resumption of school, but exciting new developments are on the horizon! One notable change is the increased activity in the Discord Banner Hall. Baroness Cheysa has been diligently celebrating member anniversaries. It has been heartwarming to see so many familiar faces from our long history still enjoying their relaxing evenings gaming with fellow NORbies.

Lords of the Rings Online & Elders Scrolls Online
Our newly revived realms have been expanding rapidly in their provisional status. LotRO recently celebrated its promotion from Barony to County, with the realm boasting up to 38 members and recruits actively playing and visiting. ESO is slightly ahead, with 39 active players. It won’t be long before both realms reach the status of full Duchies. It’s an exciting time to explore these games as they continue to grow in popularity!

We are currently enjoying the beta preview for the new elites coming with the next expansion Visions of Eternity. video The beta was extended to Friday and we have had a lot fun trying these new ways to play. From the cute familiars of the Evoker, the storytelling of the Troubadour, the protection from the Luminary, the Skritt help with the Antiquary, and more. In fact, this Sunday we got together and ran some strike missions with most of us on beta characters. Despite running 10-person group content with only 8, and not really knowing the new classes, we managed to take down 3 strike bosses with only minimal loss of life. Thanks to all who joined us.
As we wait for the next expansion, Wolf Spirit has seen our pack grow. Everyone, please raise a mug of ale in celebration of Squires Gregerz and BeastNFeastN as they are now official members of NOR. And another hardy congratulations to Panda (Chryssaia) to promotion to Squire Honor. All have been fantastic members and we look forward to their legend growing within NOR.

It’s been an eventful month in Eorzea, here is everything you need to know to stay on top of your game.Patch 7.3 The Promise of Tomorrow is Live! This is a major update, bringing the Dawntrail story to a close and setting the stage for the next exciting chapter.
• New Main scenario quests: Dive into the latest quests to conclude the Dawntrail arc and see what’s next for the Warrior of Light
• Alliance Raid: Echoes of Vana’diel: The second installment in the new alliance raid series
• New Dungeon and Trial: Gear up and get in there!
• New Treasure Dungeon: Vault Oneiron, gather those maps and grab your friends!
• Quality of Life Updates: Don’t miss out on the smaller changes. There are new furnishings, orchestrion rolls and expanded headgear support for Viera and Hrothgar!
That’s not all, in early October we will be seeing a Monster Hunter Wilds crossover coming to FFXIV! The fearsome Guardian Arkveld will make its stormy decent into the world of FFXIV.
The Moonfire Faire has come to a close. Hope everyone enjoyed the event, tried out the jumping puzzle, grabbed your free gear, and enjoyed the firework displays!

As the Season of the Worm Cult unfolded on August 18, 2025 with Patch 47, New OutRiders ESO continues to thrive. Honoring legacy, welcoming new blood, and sharpening our blades for the trials and adventures ahead.

New Recruits, welcome to the Fold! Two new recruits joined our ranks this month: Recruit Nyx and Recruit WasteTime, May your time in NOR/ be rich with friendship, challenge, and purpose. I look forward to your induction ceremonies and to your donning of the NOR Jacket.
Game Updates: Patch 47 (Season of the Worm Cult)
The latest update brings us fresh adventures and new opportunities. Some of it has been released, but more is to come in the near future. Soon, we will be able to assist in the community event to tear down the wall in Solstice while fending off the Worm Cult at the mysterious camps that have appeared all over the island. We have also been given some quality of life updates, technical fixes, the compass distance update, and my personal favorite: our mounts can now swim! This will be great for our Overland adventures. Whether you’re deciphering the cult’s twisted lore or the deep and arcane mysteries of your new subclassing build for the ever-changing meta, NOR/ stands ready to support your journey. Let us know what discoveries you’ve made and of course we’re always here to help in your journey.

Order’s Crucible: Normal Trial Series We began our weekly normal trial series runs on August 2, 2025 and all have gone successfully along with being great fun. Here are the trials we have completed up to this date.
– Maw of Lorkhaj
– Rockgrove
– Halls of Fabrication
– Lucent Citadel
These weekly Saturday trials are open to all ranks and roles. Whether you’re learning mechanics, farming gear, or just want to come along for some fun beating the challenge together, join us for teamwork and triumph.
Our regularly schedule events are:
– OutRiders’ Adventure: Wednesday evenings at 8pm EST,
– Order’s Crucible: Saturday Normal Trials at 3pm EST
– Wayfarer’s Call: Sundays at 3pm EST.
Both Wednesday and Sunday events are intended for all members, usually involving overland or large group events. I hope to see you all there!
Veteran Trial Nights (Coming in October) If interest holds, we’ll launch a weekly veteran trial night starting in October. These runs will require coordination, preparation, and a touch of madness. Interested parties should contact Knight Purpose or Squire Killing Time to express interest and help shape the schedule. Also keep an eye on the Discord #eso-trial-signups channel.
