Dungeons & Dragons Online has released its newest edition of quest, dubbed “Tavern Tales.” These quests have been incrementally rolled out every two weeks for the past month and will continue to be released on a similar schedule into May. To date, the quests “Toil and Trouble” and “The Covered Culvert” have been released, and “Sleeping with the Fishes” is upcoming. These quests can be played at heroic levels 3 through 5, at legendary levels 28, and at epic level 35. You will travel to three distinct locations to access these quests (Sunken Sewers, Lower Harbor, and The King’s Forest), and each quest brings a variety of enemies to overcome along with different ways to overcome the challenges that your company will face. With new unique quest items for rewards to help bolster your low level characters and augment your high level characters, these quests will offer you new ways to optimize your gear!

I am pleased to announce that the relaunch of *NOR/ in Elder Scrolls Online is proceeding fabulously. Since we reopened the Realm on April 06, 2025, we have seen great activity in our Realm! We are just under 20 active players and growing. First of all, I would like to thank Lord Emeritus AbinSur, Our newest Barons, Budda and Brettoel, and Baron JDWilson from Neverwinter for all their hard work and support assisting me in this endeavor. We have gathered some great new recruits, bringing high group activity and Discord presence to the branch, culminating in the promotion of two of them to Squire earlier in the week: Squires Dave-STP and Fiesty. Congratulations, you two!

Our events currently are Wednesday Evening at 8pm EDT and Saturday at 3pm EDT. So far, we have had great attendance on these and I hope to see everyone keep coming to these, they are great fun, the more, the merrier! Other than Dungeon Delves, we have added a monthly PvP world event to the mix, where we can go into Cyrodiil once a month and have a great time working on our characters and alts of different Alliances together. This month is Daggerfall Covenant, next month is Aldmeri Domininon, then it will be Ebonheart Pact. These will be on a constant rotation. As the game’s official event calendar goes, we have the Crime Wave event to look forward to followed by an experience event, then in June, the Zeal of Zenithar! Of course, we have the time outside of the events where we can hang out, talk, assist one another in our adventures and complete other achievements together. Last, but not least, in June will be the first chapter of the new expansion (2025 Season Content) where we can set sail to a new land (Solstice) for crazy new adventures! This expansion is a story sequel to the original base-game story! In the meantime, we will continue bringing in new members to play together with and I hope to see you all in Tamriel! Hail and greetings from Tyria. Moto has once again opened up his Super Adventure Box for everyone to test their old-school platforming skills across 3 worlds including a Beta-version of World 4 . Come and challenge yourself across 3 different difficulties from Exploration Mode for those who want a more relaxed experience to Tribulation who want a true challenge. And earn new rewards including homestead decorations with all those baubles you’ve collected. youtube.com/watch?v=GPgX4DJfBRU, In addition, Moto has added a new mini-challenge “Ooze Kitchen Endeavors” that can be found in all starting zones. Not only can you earn a new mini, but you can also unlock two skills you can bring with you to the Super Adventure Box.

As of the time you’re reading this, not only is Super Adventure Box going on, but WvW will be having the “No Downed State” bonus event running till May 2. A perfect time to explore this game mode and earn those Gifts of Battle for that legendary you have your eye on. Other events coming soon is the “Return to End of Dragons” bonus event starting May 6^th, Roller Beetle Racing event starting May 13^th, and the PvP Push Beta event on May 20^th.

Plus this month marks the 20^th anniversary of the original Guild Wars. /news/celebrating-20-years-of-guild-wars/ Celebrate with homage items in Guild Wars 2, updated rewards in the original Guild Wars, and many ArenaNet partners will be streaming the game that started it all throughout the month. For those feeling nostalgic can also pick up the 20^th Anniversary Edition on sale from the Guild Wars 2 store as well as various editions on Steam.

And now some words from Duke Vargorgian. On our one year anniversary of re-opening the Guild Wars 2 branch as a Provisional Barony, and the subsequent successful establishment as a Duchy within NOR, we have been emphasizing recruitment and encouraging activity of our members by joining events and playing together. We have been promoting the guild by being active in the official Guild Wars 2 forums, which has shown significantly better results than recruitment in game. We’re hoping to have promotion ceremonies again on the first Sunday of each month, so if you have a Guild Wars 2 account and want to come celebrate promotions with us, sign up for our May 4th event in Discord, and come cheer on our new people.

The negotiations will be short.

Sadly, sometimes real life impacts the things we love the most. SwTOR is no stranger to this right now, and the negotiations are not short. If only we could send jedi to help facilitate and speed things along. The Screen Actors Guild – American Federation of Television and Radio Artists has been on strike since July 26, 2024. This has impacted the ability of Broadsword and EA to expand the ongoing storyline for SwTOR. One of the greatest things SwTOR is known for is the sheer amount of voice actors that have credits in this game. The number is staggering. The main hang up currently is AI and voice actors rights. I do not pretend to know every aspect of this but know there has been headway made on a number of issues. The one major issue revolves around AI.

In happier pastures that has not slowed down the New Outriders enjoyment of this game! We have developed new and interesting strategies for world bosses to include the Whee game, blowing up each other, and sabotaging the efforts of the SD-0 boss. I suspect it is only a matter of time before a spreadsheet gets made for tallies. These all have interesting mechanics with them, and we like to see who can make the most people pop into the air. It has almost become a science to see how close to failure we can come and still succeed.

Star Wars celebration was last week, and the folks at Broadsword have given us another floating pram pet (Grogu’s hover pod) that is available to all players that log in between April 17th and the 30th. There is a purple vulptila that can be obtained from the redeem section of the SwTOR website by using the code SWTORSWC25 before May 30th, and subscribers will get a special Naboo themed mount for being in an active subscription from April 17th to May 23.
