A thing has happened which has not happened since the Elder Days. Well, more than one, and this one was not associated with hobbits coming to Fangorn forest. The New Outriders SwTOR branch invaded and won the planet of Ossus, granting all members of the Imperial side guild with the title the “Conqueror of Ossus.” The last time this happened was over a decade ago.

We have continued our quest towards more power with the pursuit of the newest levels of augments. We continue to run Galactic Season and Conquest runs every Thursday night at 8PM EST, Hard mode operations every Saturday from 8 to 10PM EST, and conquest fun runs every Sunday from 8 to 10PM EST. Galactic Season 8 has begun along with the latest update to version 7.6.1 “Rising Powers.” It went live March 11th. Currently there is a twitch drop for the AC-10 mount that will be available by watching any Twitch streamer for a combine total of four hours before April 8, 2025. You will need to ensure your SwTOR account is linked to Discord from the account page, and you can conveniently watch our very own Intisar as he streams our shenanigan’s on Twitch for most raid nights. There has been additional Basilisk Prototype ventures added along with some new skins and roles for the Basilisk companion. The group content that is being focused for this update is the Uprisings, and Kye Zyken has some special surprises in store that are bound to be very spicy! Uprisings are now no longer restricted to only subscribers. There will be an addition of a new legacy perk for subscribers of increased speed boost with Speeder Rank 6 for subscribers only, and the Dynamic encounters will feature new achievements. The focus for this reward track will be experimental weapons and also includes the legacy title “Powerful” and “Risen” for free to play and subscribers respectively.

Broadsword is continuing with their visual improvements and has even decided to include a new hairstyle as one of the season rewards. They have also announced that the new encounter for the Propagator Core XR-53 will get a Master mode version with the next iteration of the Public Test Server to go along with the new upcoming visualization updates. And, because spring is almost here, we are entering the Dantooine Spring Abundance Festival. The festival runs until April 8th and will include many new decorations and a couple new minipets (two of which are grophets.)

Star Wars celebration is happening April 18 through the 20th of this year, and the Broadsword team will be attending. They will have a short video segment during the Celebration livestream. There will be some kind of themed log-in and Subscriber rewards from this.

SwTOR NOR has also named a new champion. Congratulation to Rye who has shown her dedication and commitment to the guild time and time again. Her helpfulness to her guildmates and commitment to excellent healing and holy daggers has been tremendous! We truly appreciate Rye and her selfless work and love she shares for her guildmates!

And, lastly, but not the least, Next Tuesday the 25th will be the end of an era for a SwTOR podcast. The Ootinicast podcast has aired their last episode. Their podcast has been a monthly staple since the release of Star Wars the Old Republic in 2011. We wish them well!
