Hail and welcome to a spooky, scary Tyria. I hope you got your costume ready and trick-or-treat bags open to gather all that delicious candy corn, nougat-filled chocolate bars, wax fangs, and more as the Mad King Thorn has come to Tyria. (video) Come and brave all the horrors that come with the holiday. Visit his Labyrinth filled with skeletons, spiders, candy corn elementals, and Steve, the chainsaw-wielding giant skeleton, along with pumpkins to carve and candy corn to mine, haunted doors to open – no knowing what will answer – and a race through all this danger. Just make sure you don’t get lost. Or test your skills in the terrifying Clock Tower jumping puzzle. If that’s too scary for you, you can still explore the Tower where time stands still. There’s the Mad King Raceway to take your mounts around Thorn’s graveyard – check to make sure your name’s not on any of the tombstones. Challenge the Mad King himself in either the Ascent to Madness mini-dungeon or see if you’re smarter than a pair of his socks in Mad King Says and much, much more. (/news/shadow-of-the-mad-king/)

Next month, we will get to continue Janthir Wilds with a new story following our discoveries about The Strangers, along with a new raid, extended convergences, new relics, and a new legendary spear.

We also have three weekly guild events going on for all to join in. Wednesdays are “Helping Hands” days, where we do what NOR does best and help anyone who needs masteries, achievements, Hero Points, etc. that a more organized event really benefits from. Fridays are “Strike/Raid Day,” where we explore challenging endgame content. Finally, Sundays are “Cozy Sundays,” where we do guild races, treks, bounties, and whatever else tickles our fancy.
