We have an exciting and busy summer ahead of us. To start with Lord Garadian has reopened Guild Wars 2 and after only a couple weeks has a large active base recruiting and running content together.

Lord Yavool is beginning to add a couple games to our NOMAD Realms, the first one being PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG) and EVE Online (EVE). If you enjoy these games in any way, shape, or form and wish to be tagged in-game as a *NOR/bie such that you wish to follow the jacket creed within the game, please let Lord Yavool know in Discord. For that matter any of the games *NOR/ has established a guild tag/jacket let the High Council know.

Furthermore, we would love for our NOMAD Realms to grow and become Active Realms. So if you have been an officer with the guild before and want to try your hand at being a branch leader the High Council is here to help guide your path of bringing the next generation of members to *NOR/!

…but Tundrra, how do you know which games are out there? Which games has *NOR/ previously established itself in but have faded away? How you ask? Well Count Chazore has the answer for you. He has been hard at work building a “Uncharted Realm” guide that lists of the current MMOs on the market the guild has yet to step into, future MMOs in development to follow and of course our NOMAD lands that have a sprinkle of members wearing the *NOR/jacket and a guild jacket already created. Check out the new guide here, “Uncharted Realms” to help our members find new games that interest them and help the guild grow as the options continue to grow.

One, two, Freddy’s coming for you. That’s right readers, SwTOR’s progression team has gone back to Nightmare raiding. We have been testing the ground and building gear with Nefra, and worked our way into The Legions of Scum and Villainy. We have beaten Dash’rRoode, and have made amazing progression on Titan 6. We started testing the water a few weeks ago and decided as a group to give this a shot.

Ears for the ear jar. We have promoted two individuals recently. Congratulations to Squire Chey and Knight Maxi on your recent promotion!! You bring a lot of fun to the guild and we look forward to sharing many adventures with you both!

PvP has had an exciting and fun turn out with a stable showing on lowbies led by Duke Intisar, Knights Jess, Rye and Deus. The PvP season is progressing well, and has almost reached the time for being able to purchase levels in PvP with credits to earn some sweet, sweet tokens. This can grant you some awesome PvP cosmetic gear like the Black and silver crystal, some cool titles or weapons and armor. Also, there is a ton of fun to be had when we do lowbie PvP because it is not super competitive and focused on fun!!

Our guild has discovered a hidden realm within the vastness of Wildspace—the Imperial Citadel! This ancient dungeon holds secrets that could alter the fate of Toril and the entire universe. Gather your companions, sharpen your blades, and prepare for an epic battle against cosmic forces.🌌🗡️

To prepare for the trials ahead, we will be hosting training runs to tackle endgame content. Sharpen your blades, hone your spells, and let’s conquer the unknown together!💫

I would like to start off by saying that it has been an honor to take the reins of Guild Wars 2 and bring it back as an Active Realm from its NOMAD status where it has been for the last 5 years.

Starting with a *NOR core membership of sixteen members on April 7, we have, in only a couple of weeks, almost doubled in size and have established a full new County with 3 Baronies within it with much more to come in the future. I am seeing plenty of “Hail *NOR/”s going on in the chat and it looks like we have blown the dust off of this quiet NOMAD branch.

On April 10th, we performed a few promotion ceremonies that were long overdue as well:

I would like to congratulate our newest member, Squire Soul Fire, and our two new Barons, Vargorian and Abban, with a special thank you to Count Beesus (Our DMG) and Baron Sofija (Our Herald) for their hard work. It was a privilege to perform some promotion ceremonies and I hope to perform/attend many, many more over time!

Though Baron Sofija has mentioned this before, let me also give a loud Huzzah! to the *NOR members from other games that have assisted us with getting things off the ground: Duchess Layla (FFXIV), Countess Galaxiya (SWTOR), Count Jaylx, Baroness Chanah Jade (FFXIV), Baron Airvar (FFXIV), Knight JDwilson (Neverwinter), and Knight Neorune (FFXIV).

Thank you everyone for helping us to prepare and launch this *NOR branch again over the last two and a half months.

Along with these changes, we, as a guild, are also returning to our long-lost, almost mythical tradition of assigning named Baronies and Counties. Here is our current structure:

We will add more as we recruit more members, and I will announce those names as we build them up. Expect some friendly tourneys and fun competition in the future!

As far as Guild Wars 2 news goes, we can look forward to Update 3 very soon; it is expected to release on May 21st of this year.

This will bring us to the conclusion of the Secrets of the Obscure story expansion, bringing the final map to completion, adding a Fractal with Challenge Mode, Mastery Updates, The Wizard’s Vault Seasonal Refresh (Huzzah!), Obsidian Legendary Armor Tier 2, Additional Expansion Relics and New Legendary Enemies. It looks like we will have plenty of fun things to do.

Hey everyone! I hope you’re all doing well and had a great month. I wanted to share some exciting new with you all. Our group recently tackled and CLEARED our first savage raid! It was a wild ride filled with laughter and triumph. I think we all had such a good time working together as a team and conquering the raid.

I would like to extend a warm welcome to all of our new recruits who have recently joined our Free Company. We’re thrilled to have you on board and can’t wait to embark on new adventures together!

I would also like to congratulate Baron Paco, Knight Ayleera and Knight Bulma on their recent promotions. We appreciate all that you do to support the New Outriders and the Free Company.

In other news, FFXIV recently released the official Dawntrail Benchmark which allows players to see how well Dawntrail will run on their computer with the upcoming graphical update! It allows players to create and upload their character data to see how good they will look with the update. It also gives you the opportunity to create a new character with the new female Hrothgar.

April 24th marks the beginning of the Yo-kai watch event which will run until the release of Dawntrail. This event is a super fun collaboration between FFXIV and the popular Yo-kai Watch franchise. During the event, you’ll have the chance to collect adorable Yo-kai minions and even earn special weapons inspired by the Yo-kai Watch series. It’s a great opportunity to add some extra charm to your adventures in Eorzea.

Beginning April 24th and running until May 28th, you can receive DDO’s ongoing Year of the Dragon celebration gift by talking to the dragon Xatheral, the Year of the Dragon Gift Giver located in the Hall of Heroes, lower level. You can get to the Hall of Heroes via *NOR/’s guild ship or through the main entrance in the Marketplace.

The DDO branch of *NOR/ encourages any and all guildies wanting to enjoy the continent of Xen’drik and the 3.5 edition of Dungeons and Dragons to roll up a character and join us any time you wish! You will be pleasantly surprised to see unique takes on familiar and historic modules such as Keep on the Borderlands, The Isle of Dread, Mists of Ravenloft, Menace of the Underdark, Fables of the Feywild, and Masterminds of Sharn. As of the writing of this article, there are 755 quests to dungeon crawl and 50 wilderness areas to explore in Dungeons and Dragons Online!

You can send Lord Yavool or Count PointyEars a guild request through the in-game mail system or via direct message on *NOR/’s Discord server and we’ll get you tagged right away.
