I would like to start off by saying that it has been an honor to take the reins of Guild Wars 2 and bring it back as an Active Realm from its NOMAD status where it has been for the last 5 years.
Starting with a *NOR core membership of sixteen members on April 7, we have, in only a couple of weeks, almost doubled in size and have established a full new County with 3 Baronies within it with much more to come in the future. I am seeing plenty of “Hail *NOR/”s going on in the chat and it looks like we have blown the dust off of this quiet NOMAD branch.
On April 10th, we performed a few promotion ceremonies that were long overdue as well:
I would like to congratulate our newest member, Squire Soul Fire, and our two new Barons, Vargorian and Abban, with a special thank you to Count Beesus (Our DMG) and Baron Sofija (Our Herald) for their hard work. It was a privilege to perform some promotion ceremonies and I hope to perform/attend many, many more over time!
Though Baron Sofija has mentioned this before, let me also give a loud Huzzah! to the *NOR members from other games that have assisted us with getting things off the ground: Duchess Layla (FFXIV), Countess Galaxiya (SWTOR), Count Jaylx, Baroness Chanah Jade (FFXIV), Baron Airvar (FFXIV), Knight JDwilson (Neverwinter), and Knight Neorune (FFXIV).
Thank you everyone for helping us to prepare and launch this *NOR branch again over the last two and a half months.
Along with these changes, we, as a guild, are also returning to our long-lost, almost mythical tradition of assigning named Baronies and Counties. Here is our current structure:

We will add more as we recruit more members, and I will announce those names as we build them up. The Officers will contact you with your Barony assignments soon, so watch Discord and in-game mail for that! We will have some fun with these. Expect some friendly tourneys and fun competition in the future!
As far as Guild Wars 2 news goes, we can look forward to Update 3 very soon; it is expected to release on May 21st of this year.
This will bring us to the conclusion of the Secrets of the Obscure story expansion, bringing the final map to completion, adding a Fractal with Challenge Mode, Mastery Updates, The Wizard’s Vault Seasonal Refresh (Huzzah!), Obsidian Legendary Armor Tier 2, Additional Expansion Relics and New Legendary Enemies. It looks like we will have plenty of fun things to do.
