History: The Beginnings (1992-1995) by Lady Mookster

Introduction:
Around the early 2000s Lady Emeritus Mookster, recorded a lengthy history of the guild full of drama, fun and interesting tidbits. I have broken off some of the chapters into their own history page, such as the Newsletter, Guild Tree, and Jacket. Also be sure to check out Lord Emeritus Lasarian’s Early History Post which extends past the mid 90s.

History: The INN Network to Neverwinter Nights (1992-1995) by Lady Mookster

The NoMads
Chapter 1: The Beginnings
The New OutRiders had their beginnings in a Guild named The NoMads which was on the INN Network in 1990. After a disagreement occurred within the ranks of the Leadership of that Guild, a small group split from the main Guild to form the OutRiders in 1992. Lady Messalina stated that the Guild never really “jelled”, so , again in 1992, a group of four friends formed the New OutRiders. They
were: Lord Bromber, Lord Damien, Lady Elidriel and Lady Messalina.

The Guild was a loosely organized group that had a motto that stated that all new members “Have fun and help your fellow NOR”. The home Duchy to NOR was the Evil Way host in Yserbius. Generally speaking, the early NOR followed this creed by socializing, questing,
having ‘marriages’ within the Guild and having PvP with the warrior Guild known as the Mercs.

As the Guild slowly grew, a more formalized system developed and Lord Damien and Lady Elidriel created a basic rank structure for the membership which was very simple: Squire, Knight, Baron/Baroness, Count/Countess and Lord/Lady of the High Council. An interesting
note on the aspect of marriages within the Guild is that an on-line marriage actually turned into a RL (real life) marriage between Lord Damien and Lady Elidriel.

Eventually the Guild moved to the other RPG game on INN which was The Fates of Twinion. After a year of sluggish membership recruiting, it was finally decided that it was not a viable place for NOR and the Duchy in Twinion was abandoned. During that point in time the Guild changed their home Duchy to the Mace Manor host of Yserbius, new Lords and Ladies were appointed to the High Council and Grognard (Later to become Lord) was named as Duke of NOR for Mace Manor.

One of the new Lords was Baldrak, probably the most charismatic High Council member ever to hold that office. At this point in time the High Council consisted of: Lord Bromber, Lord Damien, Lord Baldrak, Lady Elidriel, Lady Messalina. It was then that the NOR Guild was about to undergo a turbulent time of change and trouble that would see the Guild change into a radically different organization. Leto was made Lord of the High Council and Lord Baldrak, who was the most vocal and the most influential HC member decided to expand the Guild ranks by opening up Role Play Inn as a new Host for the NOR Guild. To accomplish this he promoted Avatar from Knight to Duke and gave him the mandate to make the new NOR host successful.

INN RP
Chapter 2: The ImagiNation Network

What follows is a brief description of how the RPG (Role Playing Game) was played in the ImagiNation Network (INN).

Kingdom of Yserbius
“Kingdom of Yserbius” was played and some basic concepts that are needed to understand what will follow in the Chapters to come. Keep in mind that the game was not a version of AD&D; (Advanced Dungeons & Dragons) as is NWN. Upon entering Yserbius (or YS to those that played the game), a host was selected, then, as you entered the host, you saw picture of a Volcano (or ‘cano’) that had two entrances; an upper and a lower, and a “Tavern”. The lower was the first room in the game. This is where you could start quests, join other players to play in groups or just go in to try to accumulate experience points to gain levels. The upper entrance took you back into the place in the ‘cano’ that you had voluntarily exited previously. When you “died” in the ‘cano you HAD to go back in using the lower entrance.

The “Tavern” was a ‘chat’ room where players met to talk about the game, ask questions, role play (RP) with your character, discuss Guild matters, etc. While in YS you had the ability to talk privately with anyone that was in the same host as you, even if they were in the ‘cano’ and you in the Tavern, or vice versa. The other mode was to speak to the entire Tavern or individually by “clicking” on the person’s name or typing their name with a colon after it. There were also “parties” and sometimes even Guild meetings or marriages performed there or in the ‘cano’.

Each host had it’s own “bulletin boards” (BBS) that messages could be posted on. There were four “BBS” that had different designations and anyone was allowed to post. The BBS only held 24 messages each. Role playing was popular and some lively and sometimes very bawdy comments were all done in the “middle English” mode of speaking, with some words being of the Gaelic or Yiddish variety. There was also a lot of kibitzing between Guilds, especially between the “regular” Guilds and the Warrior Guilds. It should also be noted that the E-Mail System on INN was rather cumbersome. There were no “Mailing Lists” and all letters had to be addressed individually. For Guild Officers, this meant that if you had a letter that had to be mailed to all the members under you, you could spend 30-60 minutes just in the INN Post Office. You COULD create one letter, but you had to call it up and address it for each person. Depending on what kind of account you had {5, 25, 50, 100 or ‘Unlimited’ hours} you could use up on-line hours just mailing Guild communications to the membership.

The Guild of Yserbius
The Guilds in YS were formed by anyone that had a desire to do so. Guilds were not “registered” or “sanctioned” and INN played no part in policing Guilds. Consequently, many Guilds were formed only to disappear in a matter of days or weeks.

There were three major categories that most Guilds fell into. They were: Social, Teaching or Warrior. Some were a combination of both as *NOR was; a Social and Teaching Guild. Some of the more stable and venerable Guilds were: SOF (Soldiers of Fortune), KOY (Kingdom of
Yserbius), DEADZ, The Gypsies, WP (Warriors of Peace), Companions, ILLUMINATI, et al. In some cases NOR formed “alliances” with some of these and other Guilds that had similar viewpoints. Each host that a Guild occupied had it own officers that were there to represent their Guild leadership with their members and other Guilds that occupied the same host with them.

There were two main Warrior Guilds in YS during its existence, they were “The Mercs” and “KAAOS”. These Guilds were formed to do “battle” or to “joust”. The difference was that “battle” was done in “anger” and “jousting” was done as a sport. Regular jousting events were held in all the hosts and there was a lot of strategy in spell-casting and the use of weaponry involved to determine the winner(s). It could be a one-on-one or two teams of two people type of event.

Summer 1994
Chapter 3: Uncomfortable Times in *NOR
The following chapter explains the the turmoil and trouble and how the HC dealt with the situation in the Summer of 1994.

Turmoil Begins
When Duke Avatar opened the new NOR host of RPI, he chose a Knight, Ivanhoe, and a Squire, Leahh, as his two assistants and promoted them to Count and Countess respectively. Within a few weeks the RPI host swelled with the NOR ranks at almost 100 members. Duke Avatar then wrote to the High Council to suggest that it would be advisable to consider an expanded Rank system since most new NOR were interested in moving up in rank within the Guild. The High Council moved on that recommendation and began revising the NOR Charter also. The High Council then expanded the Rank System to have 3 levels of Squires, 3 levels of Knights, 3 levels of Champions in the non-officer ranks. The Baron/Baroness, Count/Countess and Duke/Duchess officer ranks remained the same, but a new rank of Grandee was created as an honorary officer title for those that were deemed worthy of being an officer but did not want any of the duties or responsibilities.

As the RPI host was gaining members, the High Council was discussing giving Lord Baldrak a title that would be equivalent to “King”. Baldrak refused that title and, as was his nature, chose the title of “Pope” as his new station in NOR. He started his own “Harem” and said that NOR was STILL here to have fun and if that involved being slightly impious or irreverent, then all the more humorous and fun!! Also at this time, a difference of opinion within the High Council developed as to where the Guild was going and if the nature of the Guild was changing with all the new members that were being recruited. The HC was essentially split into two factions of opposing views; One that wanted NOR to stay small and “as is” and the other that wanted NOR to grow and still try to maintain the basic concept of “Having fun and helping others”. HC meetings tended to be long and lengthy on this subject, but with Baldrak supporting the expansion of the NOR ranks, he insisted that the recruiting continue.

As time went by, Baldrak and the HC opened more NOR hosts in Evil Way (EW) with Duchess Shadow and Sword Swamp (SS) with Duke Tripper. In due course, Grognard was appointed Lord of the High Council and at Duke Avatar’s suggestion, Leahh was promoted to Duchess of Mace Manor (MM). The High Council also promoted Jarro and Cormac to Acting Lords of the HC that was made permanent a few months later. The HC now consisted of Lords Baldrak, Damien, Leto, Grognard, Jarro, Cormac and Ladies Elidriel and Messalina. Just prior to the opening of EW and SS an event occurred that would accelerate the changes that would occur in the NOR Guild.

Troubled Times
Since the “Pope of NOR”, Baldrak, actively supported the growth of the Guild over the objections of some HC members, he had the final say on all matters at the HC level. A majority of Lords and Ladies, if not actively in favor, at least tolerated this new expansion so he proceeded to keep opening new hosts for NOR. This was at least partly due to the complaints from other Guilds that there were so many members in a NOR host that the host was “full” and none of their members could get in. For the most part, Baldrak tended to stay in Mace Manor with his ‘harem’ and his ‘special’ lady, whose name was Chani. Late in the evenings the talk in MM sometimes got rather explicit and it was on one evening in early June of 1994 that Lady Elidriel made a comment to one of the ladies in the “Pope’s” harem. The comment was to have been a private message, but, as in NWN, a colon was needed after the person’s name to talk privately. This, unfortunately, was left off the end of the ladies’ name. The exact wording of the comment is not known, but it made reference to the fact that some of the members of other Guilds in MM thought this “Harem” was nothing but a “bunch of harlots”. There ensued a lengthy argument that involved almost all NOR in the host. Although Baldrak tried to play the peacemaker and calm the situation, it escalated into a major conflict. The next HC meeting was almost entirely devoted to this incident with all the HC, Duke Avatar (RPI) and Duchess Leahh (MM) involved in how to try to remedy this situation. An early version of the NOR Charter had been accepted at this time. Lord Grognard initially asked for Lady Elidriel’s resignation citing Charter violations that he alleged she committed. Lord Damien was opposed, saying that it was a personal matter and the HC should not get involved. The other HC members were not as adamant on either side and Lord Leto tried to mediate the disagreement. Avatar and Leahh both supported Leto’s effort to find a sensible solution to the problem. Baldrak stated that since he was involved he would let the rest of the HC decide the issue. The solution that was finally accepted was that Lady Elidriel “retire” and write an apology, which she promptly did under Lord Damien’s objection. Unfortunately, the argument eventually got to the fact that most of the argument involved Elidriel and Chani, who was not a NOR member. This led to Baldrak turning in his jacket and resigning from the Guild and starting a new Guild with Chani called Gypsies. With Baldrak gone, the two camps in the HC was more vocal about the growth of *NOR. Lord Damien was the most vocal against the growth and during many of the HC meetings he made this known. Meanwhile, Lord Leto asked Duke Avatar if he would like to become a Lord of the High Council. He accepted and turned over the reigns of RPI to Countess Lioness who was made Duchess for that host. (She chose as her Herald, F’Lar, a name that would become familiar in NWN.) The HC now had Lords Damien, Grognard, Leto, Jarro, Cormac and Lady Messalina.

Changes in *NOR Lords
Grognard and Avatar set about trying to put some order the Guild. They worked on yet another Charter and decided that Officer Mandates should be written so that the officers were aware of just what was required of them. Lord Avatar also created the DMG (Dungeon Masters Group) for those that wanted to advance in the Guild by learning the game but did not want the “paperwork” that was associated with being a line officer. The new Charter and Officers Mandates were approved in July of 1994 with the DMG approved in August. About that time the former Lady Elidriel unofficially started the RPG or Red Phoenix Group. Since this was without the High Council’s blessing the group was ordered to disband and enjoined Elidriel from creating other groups without the HC’s permission. This led Lord Damien to resign since that it had been mentioned in passing that this might be a ruse to incite sedition in the Guild. Elidriel was to return to the Guild later the following year.

Also in July, the former Lord Bromber challenged Lord Grognard to a “joust” and that the loser would erase his character. Bromber stated he was fighting against the NOR HC for Elidriel. Grognard lost the duel and turned in his resignation which was not accepted by the HC because the duel was conducted without the High Council’s sanction. Lord Grognard relented and decided to remain with *NOR. NOR was still growing by leaps and bounds.

There were many “Squirings” each week. These were conducted using an “oath” created by Lord Avatar stating that they would “Protect the weak, defend the innocent, help others and obey the Charter of NOR”. Although this was never adopted by the HC as the “official”
Squiring oath, it was used almost exclusively from that time forward.

In August the HC tapped Leahh to become Lady of the High Council. Lords Cormac and Jarro left INN and resigned from NOR. Zoso assumed the Ducal duties in Mace Manor and Lord Grognard started on the first NOR Renaissance Fair. It was to be held all over the INN network. It was NOR’s first attempt to have a large organized event for its members.

Lord Avatar also wrote and proposed a “Tree” type of organization that would try to keep NOR members informed and allow them easier access to their Officers. This was implemented on a trial basis in the largest host at that time, RPI under Duchess Lioness. It would be adopted a few months later with all Duchies setting up their hosts in that organization structure. NOR was at over 300 members by the end of August and Lioness was soon to become a Lady of the High Council with Duke F’Lar taking over in RPI.

The Renaissance Fair was about to take place and it was a time that saw continued growth and NOR members enjoying the “new” NOR. Lords Grognard, Avatar, Leto and Ladies Leahh and Messalina moved NOR into the most populated Guild in YS after the SOF (Soldiers of Fortune) Guild.

Fall 1994
Chapter 4: NOR Grows
ITT Takes Time operates a three strike policy. Users will be warned a maxi The first *NOR Fair was held and it was an event that was held all over the INN Network. This included playing games that were not in the RPG zone but were in a place called “The Clubhouse”. These were mainly card and board games such as Hearts, Spades, Cribbage and Backgammon. There was the usual RPG ‘Fox Hunt’ in Yserbius in addition to questing. Lord Grognard coordinated the affair and it was a huge success. Another “Fair” was immediately planned to take place as soon as it could be organized. In later ‘Fairs’ there would be other Guilds participating to the point where, at one such event, there were over 20 YS Guilds involved. It was obvious the members liked the idea of *NOR holding these affairs.

The High Council inducted a new member to its group when Duchess Lioness was made Lady of NOR. In her place in RPI was Duke F’Lar at the helm. There was talk of moving the RPI host to Fear Forrest due to the fact that RPI was sort of a “meeting” place for many in YS. Although this was considered, it was never to come about because of the members complaints against this move.

When Leahh moved to the HC, Zoso had taken over the Duchy in Mace Manor. Due to a disagreement with HC, Zoso resigned as Duke and from *NOR and Strike was promoted to Duke in Mace manor. Zoso was to return later and with his knowledge of the Game of YS, he was made a DM. *NOR now had Evil Way (EW) under Duchess Shadow and initially Sword Swamp (SS) under Duke Maniac. Duke Maniac was not one of the better Dukes that *NOR had. He was almost never present in his Duchy and the HC voted to close SS only to re-open it later
under the control of Duke Tripper. With Tripper in command the Duchy began to gather even more members for *NOR. Unfortunately, SS was rather incompatible with *NOR’s values and few months later SS was incorporated into EW with Duke Tripper and Duchess Shadow sharing the Ducal duties.

Another *NOR host was Lance Lair. This was opened by Lord Leto with Baroness Lauren in charge. Baroness Lauren was promoted to Countess within a few weeks and she also started to swell the NOR ranks. Lord Leto and Lauren resigned because of the events between the HC and Duke Zoso. In Lauren’s place the High Council made Countess Mookster the ‘Acting Duchess’ of LL for *NOR. While these weighty issues were being dealt with in the HC Chambers, the rest of *NOR was going well with most members content to leave the staffing problems to the powers that be.

On almost any given evening a Quest night, fox hunt or other type of *NOR event was in progress. There was much participation in these events and all members and their guests were welcome to join. The number of *NOR members was still on the rise as more and more recruits were Squired. By December of 1994, it was established almost 500 people were in the Guild. Stating that the HC was not “playing a numbers game”, it was still quite an achievement and most *NOR, including the HC, were quite proud to be the largest Guild in Yserbius.

The DMG Grows
The HC passed Lord Avatar’s proposal for a Dungeon Master’s Group in August, 1994, with minor changes and additions. Some pre-planning had gone into getting this new group off the ground. They had to find qualified people to assume the top positions in the DMG so that the group could begin with a cadre of DM’s in place. WilhelmG was selected for the lead Dm position along with others to help. They were: Lady Rose, Loxley, ACE, Daveros and DarkSyde. WilhelmG held the first Council of Dungeon Masters (CDM) meetings and made DM Loxley the Superintendent of Training. With Lord Avatar assisting, DM WilhelmG succeeded in integrating the DMG into the ranks of *NOR. The DMG has endured to this day.

The *NOR Fairs
The first *NOR Fair in late July of 94 was a huge success. The *NOR Fairs would be an integral part of the NOR experience on INN till almost the end of the Network’s life. In these early times the Fairs were planned and executed by Lord Grognard with help from other members, especially at this time he and Lady Leahh.

The second *NOR Fair was held on a Saturday, which tended to reduce the number of people in attendance but was still a qualified success because of the members of other Guilds and also the ‘freelance’ (not Guild affiliated} people that participated. *NOR procured many new
members from that event.

The other Guilds of YS were curious about these Fairs and two were impressed enough to ask if there could be a “joint” fair where the members of all the Guilds could attend and play. The HC quickly approved this request and the first multi-Guild Fair was conceived. The KOT {Knights of Twinion} and the WP {Warriors of Peace} Guilds began advertising to their members that, under the auspices of the *NOR Guild, there was to be a Fair for all three Guilds to participate in. Yserbius’ first multi-Guild Fair was a complete success with the Games and competitions occurring all over the INN Network.

The day after the event, the requests from even more Guilds came in to the HC of *NOR to plan another Fair with even more Guilds. Lord Grognard remarked, “I think we’ve created a monster!!!” . Since he did most of the planning, from his viewpoint that was entirely true.

The *NOR Awards Program
The *NOR Awards, initially, consisted of a “Writ of Deed” and a “Writ of Merit”. Duke EdU came to the High Council with a proposal to create other awards for deserving members. Among these were the “Golden Star of the Aldoborah Tree”, “Silver Starburst Medal”. These were readily adopted and, as time went on, other awards were added to give the Dukes and Duchesses ways to reward loyal *NOR members for their Service. All seemed to be going well in the Guild, but, *NOR was about to lose many members from an action that came, not from within, but from the INN Network itself.

Winter 1994-1995
Chapter 5: INN Causes Problems for NOR

The following chapter explains the changes in the ImagiNation Network, how the HC dealt with the situation and the expansion to Never Winter Night’s.

Selling of INN to AT&T;
In the Winter 1994-1995 The INN Network which had been called the Sierra Network, was bought by AT&T; in the Fall of 1994. The new owners immediately announced that there would be new “packages” of hours for people to choose from. There would also be one package that would be eliminated, The “Unlimited” hours package. At this point in time there was a 5, 25, 50 and Unlimited hour accounts. The new proposed packages consisted of a 5, 10, 15, 25, 50 and 100 hour group. Many *NOR members had “Unlimited” hours and were quite upset about losing their time. About 50% of the Officers and many of the rank and file began sending E-Mails stating that if this change took place they would resign from *NOR because they would be quitting INN altogether. Much letter writing began from all the Guilds in Yserbius to the management of the ImagiNation network, but to no avail. The new packages were implemented and the population of *NOR declined by over 35%. There was a new push to gain more members to rebuild the Guild and one *NOR member in particular, a Gwenivieve, was the most prolific with no less than 10 new members a week!!

NOR Rebuilds and Continues
While Lady Gwen (Then Baroness Gwenivieve) was recruiting Lady Lioness had to take a Leave of Absence {L.O.A.} for personal reasons. Lord Grognard was also having difficulties and could not be in YS very often and Lord Tripper, for similar reason couldn’t be on-line much either. This along with the fact that Lady Leahh was beginning classes for her degree left Lord Avatar as the only HC contact in YS for almost six weeks, including the ‘cross-over’ time from the old “Sierra” hour packages to the new “ImagiNation” (INN) hour packages. He proposed that more HC was needed to fill the void now that everyone’s hours were limited.

The first response came from Lady Leahh as she proposed that Duke F’Lar be made a Lord and so was unanimously voted a seat on the High Council in December with EdU being voted a Lord of *NOR right after the first of the year. The HC also voted to allow DME Lady Role a vote at all High Council meetings. This was to allow the DMG a voice in decisions that almost certainly affected their group. Since *NOR was growing again, Lord Avatar opened up Roleplay Rift and nominated Countess Roxanne to be leader of that Host. The HC voted to have Roxanne be the Duchess for *NOR in that new host. Along with Roxanne, there were many other people being elevated to higher Officer level positions in that time. Included in these were Gwenivieve to Countess and some new Dukes and Duchesses including:

Mace Manor: Duke Strike and Duke Voltare
Evil Way: Duke Sir Fixit and Duchess Regalia
Lance Lair: Duke Lynx and Duke SiR
Roleplay Rift: Duchess Roxanne and Duchess Makar
Roleplay Inn: Duke spoooge and Duke Mr. Wizard
There was also a Duchess-at-Large: Duchess Mookster

As recruiting new members continued, there was a consensus among the HC that an official “Policy” was needed. A policy had already been written by then Duke Avatar for Lord Baldrak, but was not presented due to the problems that were occurring at the time it was to be
presented. The HC made a few minor changes but the gist of the Policy stated that the only people to be recruited would be those that you would not mind questing with. The policy was unanimously passed in January ‘95. The first Alliance with another Guild was also in the making. The VEA Guild in Lance Lair requested the alliance and the HC was considering this when the hours changed on INN and virtually all the members of that Guild quit the network thereby canceling that request. The High Council debated the issue of Alliances and formulated a policy stating that, while *NOR would consider requests for alliances from other Guilds, *NOR itself would not initiate the proceedings. The next request was to come a few months later when the LLOA {Lost Legion of Atlantis} Guild made a request for alliance.

New Challeges
The limiting of hours led the HC to propose a “Mentor” system for the Dukes and Duchesses and their Duchies. Each of the active High Council member had one Duchy that they would stay in close contact with so that someone would be in that Duchy most of the time for the membership. This eventually led to a discussion as to what would happen if there were more Duchies than active HC members. That issue would be dealt with at a later time but to facilitate the HC members helping each other, it was decided that all HC members were to give Lord Avatar their telephone number so that all could be contacted if need be. This was also requested of the Dukes and Duchesses but was not mandatory as it was for the HC. The HC was mandated at that time to have only so many members. Then Lord Tripper proposed making the *NOR Elders a group. This would include not only Lords and Ladies but also Dukes, Duchesses and Counts and Countesses. It was originally intend for higher ranking Officers that had little time to be on-line but still wanted to stay with *NOR. The group and its Charter was officially sanctioned in the end of February with Lord Tripper becoming the group’s first member shortly thereafter.

The CDM {Council of Dungeon Masters} held it’s first meeting with DM WilhelmG as the moderator. He assigned DM’s to specific duties such as Training, Cartographer, etc. They also selected WilhelmG as the representative to the High Council meeting.

Other changes in the Guild included making Countess Lessa the Duchess of Evil Way after Duke Sir Fixit and Duchess Regalia resigned from *NOR to start their own Guild taking the majority of the NOR members in there with them. Lessa immediately began recruiting and had the Duchy back to its former number of NOR members within a few weeks.

One other major event at that time was the proposal of starting a Duchy in Never Winter’s Nights on that AOL Network. This was to be discussed at length in the coming weeks as the HC, with Duchess Gwenivieve helping a great deal, charged, then, Knight Sarmaran in getting
all the information for starting a Guild in that realm. He was promoted to Baron and asked to deliver the information ASAP. As the weeks went on it seemed that the only conflict with *NOR in NWN was the fact that the alignment of the members could play a role in how the Guild would be looked upon.

The High Council stated in unison that the Charter must remain intact and asked Gwenivieve and Sarmaran to ascertain if a Guild patterned after our Charter would be able to gain Sanctioning. The answer was in the affirmative, but it would still be a few more weeks before a Duchy in NWN would be realized.

More was happening with the High Council also. With Lord Avatar as her sponsor, Roxanne was inducted onto the HC by unanimous vote in late February. Duchess Makar would take over the duties of Roleplay Rift and Lady Roxanne was also to become a contributing Editor for the *NOR News Letter.

The Ides of March
Lord Avatar was in the process of planning another *NOR Fair and Lord EdU was planning the Inter-Guild fair that had 10 participating guilds to that date. Both events would be unqualified successes, but, more promotions were in the offing. Duke Wizard went to the Elders, Both Gwenivieve and Taggarty became Duchesses in their respective Duchy’s and KRESHAW and Coffeeman became Dukes in Fear Forrest and RPI, respectively. Also promoted as Duke was Sarmaran, who, after the High Council voted to officially start a Duchy in NWN, became the first Duke in Never Winter’s Nights. With the help of Duchess Gwen as his mentor, they rapidly began to increase the population of NOR on AOL.

The Alliance with the LLOA became a reality and *NOR had it’s first ally in the realm of Yserbius. *NOR was fast becoming the dominant Guild in YS and was generally regarded as one of the most Honorable Guilds to be associated with.
