This is the very last week of Hardcore Season V! For reasons unknown, the developers of DDO only made the season last two months instead of the standard three; with December’s holidays and the hustle of January, the guildies who participated struggled to achieve the various targets that the Hardcore server had set. We are hopeful that in the future, the Hardcore season returns to its regular three-month duration, as we, the players have work, children, grandchildren, other hobbies, and lives outside of the game!
Once Hardcore is over, we will return to our leveling, attempts for various reincarnation and completionist goals, and the enjoyment that comes with playing with fellow *NOR/ guild members.

There have been some major changes in Neverwinter with the introduction of module 22 the “Dragonbone Vale”. The new area has three factions to get reputation with. By getting this rep you will be able to get new gear and weapons.
There is also a new 10 player trail. So lots of questing to do now. Another major change is the way the enchantment works for your characters. This is a major change that is hard to explain without getting in the game and checking it out. These changes give the players something to work for in the game. There are several new heroic encounters and challenging mobs to fight so it promotes more teamwork than the Sharandar mod 21 offered.
Cryptic Studios and Perfect World were recently bought out by Embracer Company. I don’t know what this holds for the future of Neverwinter but hopefully it will be good changes.
So we would love for you to come join us in Neverwinter.

Gutbur’s Grand Adventure

The tabletop group started playing through Gutbur’s Grand Finale last night! I’m excited to see how the story will end. Unfortunately, you will have some time to wait because I have just posted the third installment of the adventure this mornings.
The rest is coming! I had wanted to wait till completing a fresh illustration per session episode…but that seems to be taking to long. So now I will just publish them has things get formatted and finalized. I will leave you with a early sketch of the session three illustration:)
