What is your character's most prized possession, and why? How did they get it? What does it represent to them?

[Nimue]

Nimue's most prized possession is a necklace she got from Galen as a present on her 18th birthday. It is a moonstone set in silver filigree on a silver chain, simple, but tasteful. She always liked that necklace, but ever since Galen's disappearance it has become especially dear to her and she always wears it.

For Sofija, it's her Bjǫrnhammar. It's been passed down through her family for generations. No one knows how old it is. Though at first sight it looks plain, it is said the great bear spirit itself blessed it during its forging and a part of its spirit lives within it giving the wielder great strength and power. It is also said that only those the bear spirit deems as worthy can wield it. For Sofija, it represents her devotion to family, her heritage, and her connection to the great bear spirit who guides her in her actions.

Fribble's most prized possession is, undoubtedly, her gigantic pirate hat. The hat (sans feather) was a gift to her on her first visit to Lion's Arch from a tour guide who was impressed (and possibly dismayed) with Fribble's enthusiastic completion of the city tour no less than 5 times in a row. It was a leftover prop from the reenactment of the Founding of Lion's Arch Day play and was too large to fit any of the current cast. It was the first item she received outside of Rata Sum and holds nostalgic value (as well as being well-fitting, practical and perfectly stylish!).

The gigantic feather was a souvenir of her first encounter with a massive swamp monster (the Shadow Behemoth), in which Fribble joined in with many others to help defeat. When the fight was over, there were several miscellaneous objects left - including the feather. Where was it keeping the feather? Why did it have one? She certainly didn't know, but once she cleaned it up it made the perfect accessory to her Lion's Arch hat. Fribble added a few feathers from Croquet (her pet Moa)'s tail to it for a finishing touch. The feather has the bonus feature of adding at least a foot and a half to Fribble's height, which helps to pick her out of a crowd.

Gwenhwyfar: Her harp was given to her not long after emerging from the Pale Tree by one of the First Born after hearing Gwenhwyfar describe her dream and that a harp was a reoccurring theme throughout. She enjoys sitting in the Grove, under the shade of the Pale Tree, playing her harp for any and all to come to listen, from fellow Sylvari, to their pet hounds, and even the fireflies. Her music comes purely from her connection to the Pale Tree and the nature around her and will shape itself depending on the mood, not just hers, but the mood of nature around her.
