Character Notebook: A tune for your toon

Sofija's post got me to thinking - does your character(s) have a particular song that represents them or reminds you of them? If so, please share!

Also, we used to do this in the guild I was in previous to NOR - we'd ask Character Notebook questions that anyone could answer (RPer or otherwise) about their characters in order to give the player a better sense of their character and their background. Would anyone be interested in doing those? They're questions that can have answers as short or as long as you feel comfortable answering, and hopefully spark new ideas/new stories about your character Anyone can ask them, but I was planning on posting one once a week or so if there is interest.

Here's Rolinda Starling's. She's basically Jesianna but without the love of pink and a life of hard knocks growing up an orphan. Despite that she's happy-go-lucky, sweet, caring, charming, and LOVES Fluffy things and cooking. I posted on another forum that I would like Su-metal from Baby Metal to play Jesianna in a movie adaption of her and Jesianna's theme song is their song いじめ、ダメ、ぜったい(Ijime, Dame, Zettai) which means no more bullying forever. So I had to go with Baby Metal for Rolinda.

Been giving some thought to Meng Jiangnu's theme. One thing that keeps popping up about her character is that she always wanted to join the carnival so she could be free from her noble obligations, her overbearing mother, while traveling around the world to see all the sights, sounds and people.

Sofija: Nice! I....did not know that Babymetal was a thing. Also Utada Hikaru is very nostalgic. I haven't heard that song in a long, long time.

Yeah, Baby Metal is one of my favorites. Can't wait till 狐の日 (April 1st) when their next album comes out
Glad to see someone else know and appreciate 宇多田ヒカル. I'm so in love with her

Anyway, back on topic. I don't have a background or anything for either my Sylvarian Gwenhwyfar or my Asuran Coxxo as I don't know their lore. However, when it comes to Gwenhwyfar, I know the genre of music, or more specifically, the instrument, that defines her which is the Celtic Harp (as if you couldn't guess from her name ) So here's some music that evokes her core character.

And for Coxxo, my Asuran Necromancer. She's not evil, she just has a morbid curiosity with death, reanimation, and its after effects. She's interested in the science behind it all and what drives it so spends a lot of her time in tombs. So I think the perfect piece for her is something from one of my favorite composers, Gustav Holst (The Planets), called "Ode to Death".

Want to add one more song that represents Sofija, another from my favorite Russian Pagan Folk Metal Band Arkona. Title translates to "Face of the Immortal Gods". For Sofija, it represents her connection to the great spirits, especially bear, and her reverence for them and becomes the driving force that sends her on her journey in my story.
