Biography and Personality
Fribble is the only daughter of Researcher Franji and Golemancer Pibble Fripperous. When Fribble was eight, her parents were killed in a tragic accident when one of the metamagical spark arresters malfunctioned and blew up half of their krewe's lab. Thanks to the timely intervention of Fribble's Aunt Zinji, Fribble was rescued from the attentions of Inquisition recruiters soon after. Aunt Zinji dissuaded Fribble from her dream of creating a magical traveling zoo and instead enrolled her in the College of Dynamics as a young ward of Rata Sum. Befriended by a bossy pink moa she named Croquet, Fribble spent as much time outside of the college as in it, creating small but powerful trails of chaos and minor destruction in the wake of their exploration.
After joining the College of Dynamics, Fribble (along with her krewe) gained some minor fame in her final year of study with the invention of a thermodynamic metathetic mental capacitor that worked roughly 75% of the time (the other 25% it put test subjects into an unfortunate state of metamagical stupor that does not appear to have a cure). When the invention didn't receive the distinction she hoped it would, Fribble set out to make a name for herself in the wider world of Tyria.
While she left Rata Sum with the usual Asuran prejudices regarding the intelligence of other races, Fribble's curiosity and open nature has won her some new friends and caused her to rethink her childhood assumptions. Fribble is especially interested in Charr technology and hopes to one day create a weaponized steam-glider with their help.
