Yeah, I'm sorry folks but it's true. LM, eqn, eq and eqii are no longer guided by moi. Other dreamers will steer now.
But
Smedley assures us EverQuest "is [Daybreak's] lifeblood" and EQN's development will be "more than ok."

I am not surprised there are layoffs, of course this kinda makes them look like liars when they said all game development would proceed as before. I am surprised they let someone like David Georgeson go. He was director of Everquest development or something important.

I'm glad EQ isn't going anywhere, it is the next game I have my eye on to play. I wonder if they are going to rush the product out to start making money back, of is they will delay it inorder to put their twist on it.

I was never into EverQuest, but I've been wondering lately, about the next games waiting in line to "join the competition." I take it EQN is still the "one to watch out for," then? I'll keep a loose ear to the news, like a good noseybody haha :cute

My dad has played this game for at least 18+ years. If you decide you want to play it, I've got an "in" for you. He'd be more than happy to show you the ropes. :)
My blood type is be positive. :) :bouncy :hailnor
The main toons I play, although I have many:
Galaxiya - Commando, Safphire - Sage,
Geminiya - Mercenary, Iron'Butterfly - Operative

At this point I can't help but wonder how close EQN is to being "vaporware". Nothing new has been published on it since the EQLive presentation a year or two ago.
