ESO Crafting . . .

Post by Seyella »

Who is planning to craft in ESO upon launch? If you are, what crafting professions will you be leveling?

I tried out most of them in the past few beta's and enjoyed them all. I got the farthest in Provisioning and Enchanting. I didn't seem to have a problem finding most of the mats needed for crafting - my biggest problem was bag/bank space to keep it all. Since ESO will not have an auction house, it looks like we'll have to utilize our guild bank and store to it's fullest - so that we can exchange mats that are needed to level our chosen crafting professions.

With the lack of an auction house our crafters will be vital for supplying both ourselves and our guildmates with potions, armor, weapons, etc. that will be needed.

I also tried all of the crafting, highest in provisioning as well since there are so many materials for it in the world. I also worked my Alchemy up somewhat high. I had trouble leveling Enchanting because for whatever reason I could not find many Aspect runes.

I can picture a world without war, a world without hate.
And I can picture us attacking that world, because they'd never expect it.

I will start with Clothing and Woodworking but will ultimately do all crafts, except for Blacksmithing, probably.

I'll be doing them all.

I think I will concentrate on blacksmithing first, and woodworking secondly.

I really only got to play with Provisioning, and seeing how Crafting takes skill points as much as your class\weapon skills do I will focus on that first and decide if I want to go a 2nd later or not. :thumb

I have not been able to play in the later betas where crafting was actually working, but knowing my fondness for crafting I will likely want to at least try all of them.
