Brandy has taken an LOA from her duties as Branch Leader of GW2. The High Council is considering closing the branch due to inactivity there. This will be discussed further at the next High Council meeting on October 27th.

So if it does close, would the branch be under the NOMADS term?

Just wondering how something like this would work.

Very good question. IMHO I would think that, because there are a couple of people that do still play, this would be the case. However, my opinion is just one out of four I will pose that question to the rest of the High Council.

The NOMAD branch was barely an hour old when this question was first posed, although for LOTRO or any other "flagging" branch. The original intent for NOMAD was to be a Duchy for non-traditional NOR games where a formal Duchy isn't practical, or to give options to players outside the MMO world to still participate in our community, even if all they played were things like League of Legends, SolForge or Facebook games.

I'd like to see how NOMAD does under its original intended purpose first before we start adding yet more facets to it.

I think the discussion on branches is worth airing.

All of this is probably worthy of another thread, I don't want to get too far from the mark on the topic for the GW2 guys here.
