I played LOTRO for quite a while on the Brandywine server through Beta and then after launch. I am a sucker for expansions so I was thinking of getting the expansion and playing a bit on my days off from SW:TOR. Does anyone here play anymore?

To tell the Truth, I'm surprised there's going to BE a LOTRO sequel at this point. I thought if there was going to be one, it would have been a couple of years ago. From what little I've heard, LOTRO was on the decline?

I tried it out VERY briefly after it went F2P. It wasn't bad, but it didn't really grab and hold my attention. Then again, SWTOR did that, and eventually lost it *shrugs* I do kinda miss the game, but at this point I really have no idea what I'd do with my time if I DID get back into it. I've never been into continuous dungeoning and/or raiding, and it seems that crafting is STILL a be-biochem-or-be-useless-in-the-long-run affair.

I played it with lane for a while . I have been itching for a fantasy mmo for some time.. Only thing is I don't have time for swtor let alone another mmo. If my time allows in the future I would consider going back...

There are still a couple people that play on Brandywine I think. I have a couple characters there and the game was pretty fun. I still have it installed on my computer anyhow and think about playing

I relogged in recently, but still haven't been able to get retagged.

And yes it is still going well with players. The original plan was to make it all the way to Mordor in the expansions. The next one gets us to Helms Deep, so only about half way.

I have a level 50 burglar. Not sure what server he's on. Do they have a transfer option for returning players? I haven't played in several years but I remember it was a fun game. I would probably check it out again.
