I am wondering if starting races will still start in different area. I will be pre-ordering and I will start as Dunmer. But I can also make a Redguard to play with people in the other starting area.

All races of their respected factions, except for Imperial, will start in their respected areas without choice.

And, no you can't start with opposing factions, not until [self-censored] and only if it's public content...

However, it's been 'implied' that you'll be able to group with opposing factions for group PVE dungeons and...[censored sentence]

Dammit, I wish I could tell you all more about PVE!

Imperials are a race not a class.

Imperials are the only race that can choose their faction.

Yes, if you choose any other race, that's not Imperial, you'll be stuck with the starting area that's relative to your race.

DC is a really fun quest line...

Even though I'm AD, I think all of you will have a lot fun rolling DC since most people have expressed that it's the funnest quest line.

However, be prepared to spend a good month leveling if you're going to read every book, do every quest, find every skyshard, and craft.

It's certainty the longest mmo questing experience I've ever come across...but it's well worth not rushing through it unless you're going for server first! XD

Yes, if you choose any other race, that's not Imperial, you'll be stuck with the starting area that's relative to your race.

Are you including the faction unlock preorders receive? Because that seems completely ass backwards to even utilize if you make a Dunmer starting in Aldmeri lands... how would you quest? Wouldn't everyguard NPC murder you on site for representing opposing factions?

I see no reason the developers would force you to start in Ebonheart lands as a Dunmer who supports Daggerfall.

At a 'certain point', you'll be in [censored] of the opposing faction...

Imperial is just a gimmick race, it's not even that important and never has been throughout the entire TES series. Even though that race gives you the option to choose your alignment, I seriously doubt any of the racial passives will be game breaking:

IMO, Imperial will have the weakest racial passives in order to make up for them being factionless.

The details on being *factionless* has becoming a bit distorted by reporters...

In any case, if you roll dunmer, you will be starting in EP.
