Victory!! Our first completed tier 2 zone cleared! Tonight's raid could not have gone smoother, everyone was logged in and was ready to go 5mins before Raid time and we finished 5 mins before our goal end time:) Every boss died on our first attempt, with the exception of the puzzle boss. The puzzle took 3 or 4 attempts, we had to move the healers and a couple DpS around a bit to get it just right!

I will continue to bring Riveni (the character) on Karagga Raids until she picks up a new saberstaff from that worm and his BATTLEMECH. It was fun being the main tank for that last fight for the first time, and it was all the better for being hard mode and succeeding on our first attempt. GO NOR!

Vashile, you were a great back-up, and this is all the more fantastic considering your relative "newbie"-ness on ANY Operations (raids), let alone one in Hard Mode.

02.05.13 Tuesday 9est SM Terror From Beyond

Another new boss down Operator IX !! We progressed much further this 2nd time into Terror From Beyond! Another fast start zoning in 5mins after the hour, we killed the trash up to the first boss without our 2nd healer as we waited for Judas to be a good son:) We burned through the first boss quickly killing her before the 3rd Jealous Male spawned, showing Nethrissa we brought our DpS with us this week:p

They fixed the bonus boss this time around so we were able to get a easy kill in and add some rare crafting supplies to the prize pool!

The DreadGuard was our goal and we were going pretty strong till we had a LinkDead Vash, after a regroup and a LinkDead Tundrra we were able to complete our goal with a hour and half still to go, so we proceeded to the Puzzle boss!

After a beautiful simulated demonstration of the boss fight we matrixed into the puzzle boss fight clearing him on our first go! At this point we were getting short on time but having such a great night we couldn't leave without at least seeing the next boss. We gave him 3 quick wipes and called it a successful evening!! Thanks again everyone that came out to raid!

This was fun, but the mechanics on our last fight was a LOT to remember... and that was just for the first phase of three!

02.12.13 Tuesday 9est StoryMode Karagga's Palace

Unfortunately with a combination of a new content update and a couple MiA players we couldn't fill a full Operation group, but it did give us a chance to try out the new content in Ilum that came with update 1.7. The new area has some beautiful landscape and the PvE quests are not to bad with a full group, a little bit of camping of various spots but in a group it didn't seem to bad. The PvP quests are of mixed feeling personally I enjoy a bit of world PvP, however we did get pulled into a trap which was funny the first time but it could definitely get old quick! So the objective is to take a orb to a central location where everyone is intensely waiting to pounce on one another, each group is of 4players each competing against one another. Along the way we to the center we see a stray sith and a quick battle begins, but not in the direction we think:) It seems this lone wolf was only bait has his guild mates come pouring out of hiding , there had to 15+ of them:). So instead of 4 on 4 group it became 15 on 4:p. After that we switched instances and finished the quest:)

02.19.13 Tuesday 9est Fleet DataCron

We had several players show up last night and a ton of alts, everyone received the +60 dataCron in a super quick manner. Thanks TCL for joining us!
As we ran around getting the items needed for the Puzzle members of TCL that already had them prepped up the the puzzle, so once everyone made it to the zone all we had to do was pick up our DataCrons. We got this all done within an hour, giving us plenty of time to run a HM FlashPoint afterwards:)

02.26.13 Tuesday 9est StoryMode Eternity Vault

What a great NOR turn out, 7 Guildies and 1 PuG Tank!...At least to start with:p Congratz Poxi and Joker on your first swToR Operation, we hope to see you at many more! We did a force spawn of Eternity Vault since it had been so long since we been in there and we were short a 2nd tank to do it, after a quick couple shout outs in TCL's chat channel we moved general chat to find a PuG tank, quickly I-Ching of the "Republic Vanguards" answered the call:)

We zoned in by 9 and were killing the first boss by 9:15 and that's when things got interesting:). Shorty after killing the first boss before we made it to the first batch of trash mobs our MainTank Vashile DL's!! We decided to move on and clear the trash with our PuG tank, while waiting for Vash's return. We get a little fancy while we wait trying to pull multiple groups of demon dog things at once so we can make great use of our AoEs. With the group made up of Alt healers and some 1st time raiders, as well as being short a player, this may have not been our best move of the night:p

After a quick wipe and running back Tundrra sends a couple frantic emails to our missing tank, due to the nature of the groupFinder we can not just invite a replacement in the group so we decide to press on to the next boss with the 7 of us. Killing Gharj slowly we enrage him, but he doesn't get the best of us, well not all of us, Tundrra ends up in the middle of a lava lake with little chance of rescue:). Even though we have low DpS and short a player things are proceeding quite smoothly.

Once reaching the 3rd boss we realize Vash is not coming back and we must find a 8th person for the 1 on 1 fight. While trying our usual channels and solving the puzzle boss we contact Zeb from "TCL" and he promptly comes to our rescue. Of course It never fails when Zeb zones into the zone we see Vashile's character Login message! We continue on through the zone with out much problem, keeping Zeb as our secondary tank. Our Dps still a little low we had to fight the one on one boss twice, but the final boss Soa when down on our first attempt!!

It was a great time and I'm excited for next week, thanks again for all those that came out!
