The session begins as the party finishes up their meeting with Lucretia, receives their gifts that she delivers from Sister, and then decides to head back north in pursuit of Jorn the frost giant. As the companions prepare to depart, Magar casts detect magic to scan the area of the battle. The spell reveals a magical emanation from the fire pit which Magar points out. Investigating, the party finds a glowing blue crystal orb several inches in diameter that looks a bit like a magical snow globe. There is a rune in giant that simply means "Home" within the orb. Magar recovers the item with mage hand and identifies it as an object used to teleport back to a frost giant hold by touching the orb and saying the command word, home. Easeis places the item into his bag of holding.
The party heads west back into the main tunnel and then north where they saw Jorn fleeing during the previous battles. The group comes up to a set of double doors set in the northern end of the tunnel and as they open them, a pair of half-giants is revealed. It appears that these may have been some of the fleeing half giants from earlier and Easeis easily intimidates them. One drops his weapon, frozen in fear, the second not only drops his weapon, but falls to the floor, groveling in fear. Easeis tells them to flee. From just behind, and directed at, the half-giants comes cursing and threats from two hill giants preparing to attack.
Momo flies north but holds near the door since the giants are too far away. The western half giant cautiously gets up and, leaving his weapon on the floor, runs south towards the party. Easeis casts a hypnotic pattern, freezing one hill giant in place, but the other shakes off the spell. The second half giant, also ignoring his dropped weapon, runs south past the party. Sprinkles also flies north to just inside the door, preparing to distract the first hill giant that approaches. Magar slings a fire bolt into the chest of the approaching west hill giant, causing a large burn. Quiro steps into the doorway and prepares an attack for the approaching enemy. The hill giant, patting the blackened spot on his chest, heads right at the dragonborn, but gets a face full of Sprinkles as the owl dives in, distracting the opponent. As the giant waves its hand at the annoying owl, Quiro lands two cuts across the giant's midsection. The giant grunts and then slams its massive club twice into the dragonborn, staggering the fighter. Eilo focuses her hex and eldritch blasts landing one beam on the angry giant. Koram casts toll the dead but it seems to have no effect. Momo then flies in from the east also distracting the enemy. Easeis glances over to make sure both half giants are continuing to run away south, then turns and throws an acidic chromatic orb into the giant facing Quiro. Sprinkles flies past the giant again and Magar takes advantage, his fire bolt just clipping the enemy. Quiro again lands two solid slashes with his longsword, blood spraying as the first giant falls, the dragonborn walking up over the corpse to head north towards the second charmed giant. The ever impulsive Eilo shifts her hex and eldritch blasts the charmed giant before anyone else can get into ideal positions to fight. Both beams find their mark, pure force and necrotic magic from hex damaging the opponent with the first beam grasp also pulling the awakened giant south towards Quiro. Koram steps into the room, toll the dead further damaging the giant. The hill giant, awake and angry at the blasts from the warlock, swings its club up at the flying warlock, smacking Eilo twice and spinning her about in the air. Momo flutters past the giants head and Easeis lands a ray of frost on the distracted giant. A moment later, Sprinkles zips past, and as the giant follows the flight path of the owl, Magar blasts it right in the face with a fire bolt. Quiro steps in and growls, "Pick on someone closer to your own size.", landing one deep cut into the giant's hip. Eilo turns to fly away east, but the giant takes the opportunity to smack the fairy like a ball. Even with Quiro deflecting the worst of the hit with a shield of psionic energy, the fairy tumbles off in the general NE direction she was heading before righting herself. She turns back and her first eldritch blast beam slams the giant to the floor.
The party quickly takes stock of the room and their condition, Koram casting cure wounds twice on the severely injured Quiro, the worst of his wounds vanishing to the healing magic. The party heads out the eastern door tot he room and finds themselves in a large entry hall, a huge opening leading to the outside just to the north. The sounds of battle echo up from the south and the party can just make out a huge flaming skeleton and the unmistakable sphere of darkness from Lucretia facing off against a couple of hill giants. As the party quickly looks for Jorn, agreeing that the frost giant must be fleeing back to whoever hired him, they decide that trying to catch him in the wilds with the lead he has isn't the best option. Instead they turn to the south, intending to assist Lucretia against the immediate threat. Eilo pulls an ape and giant hyena from her bag of tricks as the party heads south.
As the party draws closer to the battle, the giants intent on facing Lucretia and her flaming undead pet, Magar unleashes a fireball, sculpting the undead ally out of the blast. Both giants are wreathed in fire and Easeis peers into the void, learning the wizard's spell. Easeis sends a ray of frost at the closest giant, but it skims past, missing. Eilo targets the same giant with her hex and eldritch blast, one beam slamming into the giant. Koram targets the same giant with toll the dead, necrotic energy eating into the giant. Eilo's ape charges south. The party, having spent their initial surprise attacks and advancing south on the giants, fall into the regular rhythm of battle. Koram rings out another toll the dead on the north giant as Lucretia strikes the southern enemy. Eilo eldritch blasts the northern giant again, dragging it north over her ape, before slamming the enemy with the second force beam and then flying SE, closer to the fighting. Easeis throws another ray of frost, but it misses the northern giant. Magar lines up a fire bolt, the northern giant shrieking in pain as it falls to the floor. Momo flies south close to Eilo as the giant hyena charges south towards the giant fighting Lucretia, and Sprinkles also flies towards the fighting. Two additional hill giants enter the huge room through a door to the east. The giant facing Lucretia swings into the darkness, but the vampire only giggles as the swings miss and her flaming undead pet, Smokey, smacks the giant from the flank. Quiro charges SE, but carefully plans his stop where he thinks the giants will not immediately reach him and be able to attack. The ape stops directly behind the giant facing Lucretia and punches the enemy twice right in the butt, earning the nickname, Mr. Fister. Koram heads SE, casting toll the dead to no effect on Lucretia's target. Lucretia also misses her opponent, followed by Eilo missing the same giant with both eldritch blast beams. Easeis breaks the trend, moving south and landing a ray of frost on the seemingly untouchable giant. Magar heads south just far enough to see the hill giants coming from the east and drops fireball directly over both of them. Momo flies past the giant facing Lucretia, tickling its ear and distracting it for a second as the giant hyena bites into the giant's leg. Sprinkles flies past the now smoking NE giant. The SE giant heads SW, picking up a rock and heaving it into Smokey. The NE giant heads towards Quiro, stopping to pick up a rock and throwing it at Koram, but the rocks sails over the dwarf's head. The giant facing Lucretia looks annoyed as it once again swings into the darkness, but fails to hit the laughing Lucretia before taking another hit from Smokey. Quiro closes the gap to the NE giant, slashing it once and then blasting it with his seemingly way cooler force breath weapon. Two additional hill giants appear through the east door and Magar jokingly comments about looking for a hill giant mother off that way. Mr. F., the ape, again slams the giant facing Lucretia. Koram calls up his spirit guardians, and as the dwarven ghosts appear, he steps closer to envelop the giant facing Lucretia, the radiant spirits swarming the enemy and killing it. Lucretia moves NE and hits the giant squaring off against Quiro. Eilo flies up above the giant facing Quiro, shifting her hex and eldritch blasting it, the first beam landing and pulling the giant up 10 feet with Grasp of Hadar, but the huge creature easily drops back down unaffected by the fall, before being hit by the second eldritch blast beam. Easeis twins acidic chromatic orbs and sends one at the giant facing Quiro, and one at the giant to the south. The enemy facing Quiro crashes to the floor, gurgling as acid eats away its face. The second orb hisses as it hits the floor next to the southern enemy. Magar heads south and prepares a fire bolt on the southern giant, launching it and scorching the hill giant seconds later as Momo distracts the target. Another hill giant moves in from the east as the giant hyena lunges in, biting the southern enemy. The hill giant responds by smashing the hyena with its tree trunk club, and another giant coming in from the east also smacks the hyena with a thrown rock. Smokey heads SE and hits the enemy facing the hyena. Quiro psi-leaps south, landing and closing the last few feet before cutting two deep slashes into the southern giant that looks surprised that the dragonborn closed the distance so quickly. One of the hill giants from the NE moves in and swings twice at Quiro, landing one hit with its massive club, but missing with the second swing. Another giant from the east moves towards the melee and launches a rock at Lucretia that just sails through the darkness, missing. The ape charges from the NW, closing on the new enemies. Koram moves SE and the spirits close over the southern giant, radiant energy killing another enemy. The cleric also casts toll the dead at the giant facing Quiro, but the enemy resists the necrotic magic. Lucretia casts a spell of some kind and then moves up on the giant facing Quiro. Eilo moves north a bit and casts rainbow explosion around three of the giants that entered from the east, but isn't happy with the damage it does so she flies north a bit to sulk. This is followed immediately by fireballs from both Easeis and Magar, the giants burned by fire and radiant magic, one also blinded. Momo flies past the giant facing Quiro. The northernmost hill giant from the east moves west, picks up a rock and throws it, hitting Easeis squarely, the sorcerer stumbling from the impact. The giant hyena moves in and bites the giant to the east of Quiro. Sprinkles dives past the NW giant that just hit Easeis with the rock. Another giant from the east moves SW and throws a rock, Smokey the skeleton taking a crushing hit, but the pet still manages to land a strike on the same giant just bit by the hyena. Quiro just barely hits his opponent with his breath weapon, but lands a solid hit with his crystal blade. The giant to Quiro's east slams its club into the hyena and it magically poofs out of existence, and the giant's second swing hits Smokey, the undead looking battered, its fires sputtering. Mr. F. slams both his fists at the giant facing Quiro, but only hits once. Koram shifts east just off Quiro's flank and the spirit guardians tear at the giant east of the dragonborn, the cleric also landing a toll the dead on the same enemy. Lucretia lands another hit on the western giant facing Quiro. Eilo flies south and casts eldritch blast, one beam hitting the NW hill giant and the second hitting the furthest east enemy. The fairy then flies back north, still upset about her rainbow explosion spell. Easeis moves east and then twins another chromatic orb, hitting both the giant facing Quiro and the one to the north, both flinching at the corrosive acid. Magar again waits for Momo to dive past the giant facing Quiro before casting his fire bolt, and once again the bolt hits perfectly, the enemy bellowing at the flames momentarily before falling dead. The northern hill giant whips a rock at Koram, blasting past the cleric's shield and battering the dwarf. Sprinkles flies past the NW giant's head, distracting it. The southern giant swings at Smokey twice, missing once, but its second blow crushing into Lucretia's pet, its bones scattering to the floor. Quiro, free of melee opponents, heads north engaging another target. The fighter hexes and then lands a psionic boosted slash with his crystal sword, cutting the enemy down. The blinded giant to the east staggers west, swinging wildly, but hitting nothing but air. The ape moves east and attacks the blinded giant, landing two pummeling fist attacks. Koram advances east towards the blind giant, the spirit guardians killing the hapless foe, before the cleric turns south and the radiant spirits begin burning the final giant to the south. Koram also tolls the dead, but the final enemy shrugs it off. Lucretia also tolls the dead on the last giant, necrotic energy damaging the enemy further. Eilo eldritch blasts the stubborn final enemy, but both beams miss. Easeis lands a ray of frost, and the giant staggers, battered, burned and frozen. Momo zips around its head, the giant barely paying attention anymore before Magar's fire bolt streaks in and immolates the final opponent.
End Session 79 as the party finishes killing the remaining hill giants with Lucretia.

606 CY - Reaping 7th - 11:36 pm
------------------
The session begins as the party has just finished combat in the large hall south of the giant hold's main entrance. After catching their breath, the companions decide to head back underground to the slaves in the tunnels rather than quickly exiting the burning hold.
The group picks up the Dwarven slaves that were doing their best to watch the party's six by the stairs and everyone heads back through the hidden tunnel. There is some grumbling as the party releases the half-ogre prisoner the slaves had tied up, but none of the slaves argues. Since all is quiet, the stonework appears sound, and no smoke from the burning hold appears to be reaching this section of the tunnels, the exhausted party decides to take a long rest. Magar sets up a tiny hut and there are no interruptions.
Reaping 8th 08:30
The party and slaves awaken, rested and slightly better off than the night before. Sneed leads the party, half-ogre and all the escaped slaves to the NE to the troglodyte's territory. The trogs do not interfere with the large band led by the companions and the party passes through to a tunnel that ends in a watery pool. The water here heads away to the NE and Sneed explains there is another pool in a tunnel to the NW where the water comes from the NE. Easeis, not needing to breathe, investigates the underwater passage and returns to let everyone know that it is only about 100' to the far side of the submerged area that leads into a larger cavern.
The party and all the escaped slaves make it through the water and arrive in a vast cavern with 60' high ceilings. This is where the crab-like cave fishers have their lair. The group spots a few of the creatures latched high up on the walls and ceiling. As the party moves northward the fishers move to attack. Koram leads off with a toll the dead, striking one of the creatures as Momo flies north. Koram is wrapped in a slimy filament shot by one of the fishers to the NE and is pulled up about halfway to the ceiling. Quiro sprouts his dragon-like wings and flies up after the cleric. Magar fire bolts the fisher holding the dwarf. Eilo hexes and lands one eldritch blast beam, yanking the fisher that grappled Koram from the wall, causing it, and the dwarf to fall to the cavern floor. Easeis attempts to vortex warp two other fishers from their high vantage, but both resist the magic. Koram calls up a spiritual weapon while standing up from his fall and smashes the fisher that fell with him. He then smashes the corpse with his warhammer, dislodging the sticky weblike filament and moving towards the center of the cavern, his radiant weapon floating along. Momo flies past another fisher distracting it as Quiro psionically leaps, closing the gap to the distracted enemy, landing two solid slashes. Bolstered by the clean strikes, the dragonborn surges and lands two additional strikes with his crystal sword. Magar, seeing the fishers approaching across the ceiling from all directions, casts mage armor. Eilo shifts her hex to Quiro's target, her first eldritch blast beam smashing the scorpion-like foe off the ceiling dead before it falls to the floor 60' below. The fairy's second beam just misses another fisher to the north which promptly grapples the warlock with a filament of slime. Easeis drops a hypnotic pattern west, charming 2 out of 3 targets. Fisher to the south grabs a hobgoblin slave. Another cave lobster to the north attacks the ensnared Eilo, Quiro deflecting a bit of the damage. Two more fishers to the south grab the half-ogre and an orc from the mostly cowering group of slaves. Magar is then grappled by a fisher to the west. Sprinkles dives past the fisher closest to Koram, the dwarf taking advantage and hammering the enemy with a perfectly aimed guiding bolt, the target left glowing and easy to pick out. Momo then dives past the opponent grappling Eilo. Quiro flies up and tries to hit the filament holding Eilo, missing, but managing to land a solid hit on the other target glowing from guiding bolt. Magar misty steps down 30' from the filament holding him and falls the remaining 30', crashing to the floor, prone. The wizard stands and lands a fire bolt on a fisher to the east, its dripping blood sparking and igniting. One of the northern fishers snaps its pinchers at Eilo, landing one hit, but getting blasted in return by a hellish rebuke from the warlock, the bleeding fisher exploding as its blood ignites. She then eldritch blasts the enemy holding her both beams striking and killing the target. It falls from the ceiling and the fairy is yanked down right along with it, both crashing to the rocky floor below. Easeis vortex warps an enemy down right in front of Koram. The southern fishers are fully engaged in combat with the escaped slaves they have grappled. Koram is hit once by the new target facing him and returns the hit with an inflict wounds spell while moving his spirit weapon closer. Momo dives at the target facing the cleric. Quiro flies towards the overmatched slaves to the south shifting hex to the SW enemy. Magar fire bolts the enemy distracted by Momo. Easeis, seeing the additional damage fire seems to inflict on the wounded enemies, learns fire bolt as Magar casts it. Eilo misty steps to the SW and then eldritch blasts the fisher fighting Quiro, both beams hitting. Easeis uses his new fire bolt cantrip burning the enemy facing Koram, its blood sparking from the flames. The burning fisher attacks Koram with both its crab-like claws, but can't get past the dwarf's armor as Sprinkles dives past. Koram casts toll the dead on the enemy in his face, damaging it further and calls his spiritual weapon closer. Momo flies in circles, no target within reach that isn't already distracted. Quiro quickly determines that the hobgoblin grappled by the SE fisher looks the worst by far and flies in to cut the filament holding the slave, also catching the hobgoblin before it can fall. He also refocuses a bit of psionic energy. Magar fire bolts the already burning enemy facing Koram, the additional fire blasting the fisher to bits. Eilo tells Easeis to vortex warp the two remaining slaves away from their captors and holds a wall of fire until the slaves are clear. Easeis yells, "Don't resist!", his voice sounding a bit pained or annoyed, before he twins vortex warp, grabbing the orc and half-ogre from the fishers to the south and setting them safely to his east. Eilo's wall of fire erupts a second later engulfing the three fishers to the south and also catching Quiro who manages to psionically shield some damage and avoid the worst of the blaze. The fisher in the fire to Quiro's south misses the fighter with both its pincher attacks. The NW fisher scuttles along the ceiling out of the fire and towards Eilo, Sprinkles flying in to distract the enemy.
End Session 80 as the party continues combat against the fishers at the top of round 6.

The session begins as the party continues combat against the fishers. Top of round 6.
Combat continues for several more rounds, a few more cave fishers appearing from the darkness, including the queen. Momo and Sprinkles continue to fly around the cavern distracting targets. Easeis and Magar alternate fireball and hypnotic pattern to great effect. The sorcerer also lands several chromatic orb attacks and the wizard a few fire bolts. Easeis also summons Stabitha near the end of combat for a bit of additional flying melee power. Eilo and Quiro fly from target to target, hex, eldritch blast and crystal longsword attacks dropping the creepy crawly enemies. Eilo uses a bit of power for healing light, then also breaks out her new wand, Switch, and while arguing with it manages to throw a faerie fire. The sentient wand takes charge and when Eilo tries to cast hideous laughter from it, and changes the spell to antagonize. Koram is reeled up, pulled back down by Quiro's psionics, and then dropped a couple of more times, with a loud clanging of metal. The cleric manages a few guiding bolts, toll the dead cantrips and spiritual weapon hits along the way before the queen is finally killed by the party.
Quiro catches his breath with second wind, Magar uses arcane recovery to gain back a spell, Easeis uses his Rune of Recovery to gain back a bit of sorcerous power, and Koram uses harness divine power to also gain a spell back.
The companions head north and search a dead end cavern filled with a nest of the sticky filaments extruded by the cave fishers. The group finds a pile of coin, a silver necklace with an inset gemstone, a box of turquoise animal figurines, a carved ivory statuette, two large gold bracelets, a spell scroll of sleep and a potion of healing. Easeis puts the coin in his bag of holding while Koram places the treasure items in his bag. Magar takes the scroll and the potion goes to Quiro.
Easeis mentions he would like to use a Sending to contact Periwinkle.
The party exits the tunnels and ends up in the Jotens Mountains but on the northern face, a couple of days SE of the dwarven settlement of Illaren, and just a few days east of Num-Theraz. The party heads to Illaren for a bit of R&R and maybe some shopping. The dwarven former slaves accompany the party while the various humanoids scatter into the mountains.
End Session 81 as the party arrives in the Dwarven settlement of Illaren, north of the Jotens Mountain Range.

606 CY - Reaping 11th - 10:30 AM
------------------
The session begins as the party arrives after a few days of travel to the well appointed Dwarven town of Illaren, last stop on the way to Num-Theraz.
The party arrives in Illaren, entering the unwalled district of Bulaza in the NE of the outskirts of town. The companions get lodgings at the Singing Dragon Inn, randomly choosing it over the Foremost Bone Inn across the street. Illaren is a relatively small town of about 2,000 folk, mostly Dwarves. Illaren's many shops are surprisingly well stocked for a town of its size, but it does make some sense being that this is the last stop on the major pilgrimage route to Num-Theraz.
The party spends time between Reaping 11th and 13th crafting, shopping, selling off accumulated treasure. Spell component lists are checked and items are purchased or crafted as needed. Easeis and Koram silver the skull of Devolder and mount it to an axe handle for Easeis to use as a focus. Eilo hits up the local bakeries and wants to use the shiny blue orb to teleport to, and attack, the frost giants. Magar spends some time crafting healing potions and using his rare inks to begin scribing spells.
Koram also takes Quiropsius to the Temple of Moradin and introduces the dragonborn as an ally to the dwarven people.
Quiro asks around about the child, Ybarra, and relays what he finds to the companions.
"The acolyte at the temple told me he saw a child that closely resembled Ybarra. I'd like to try to find her, to check on her, the last time we saw her she was grievously injured; and I'd wager we'd have better luck going to Num Theraz before taking a portal to the giants."
While eating dinner at about 6:45pm on Reaping 13th, the Illaren town alarm bells sound. The party follows the crowd and is able to get some information. Gryphon's Reach and the tunnel leading back east have been attacked.
Easeis thinks the attack is a diversion to pull more resources from Num-Theraz so it can be attacked more easily. This appears to be the prevailing wisdom, at least, most remark on the timing of the host departing for the Yeomanry from Num-Theraz and an attack on the Reach within just a few days of their departure. However, there is no word of movement on Num-Theraz as of this evening.
He also thinks Eilo might be able to learn a sigil sequence there so if the party eventually assaults the frost giants, they will have somewhere to return to.
As news comes in from Num-Theraz; All everyone knows right now is that it is under attack/has been attacked, although it’s less than an hour before there is talk of Frost Giants
Koram asks about any griffons left to transport the party and others to assist Gryphon's Reach. All of the griffons were transporting troops, mostly officers and cavalry as is their custom but there may be some grounded at Num-Theraz, but there might be stragglers from the Reach which is why everyone has half an eye on the sky.
A few hours later the group learns that attempts to teleport to the Reach using it's circle have failed.
End Session 82 as the party wraps up their shopping, re-provisioning and preparations for the journey to Num-Theraz, and the town's alarms sound. Gryphon's Reach has been attacked.
As always, please see Discord In-Character channel for additional discussion.
Footnote: Koram also 100% remembers reading some story about a group of adventurers named Bosin's Pike or something. They kept going shopping in the City of Deepwater or something like that. He wonders if he and his companions will end up shopping in Illaren or Greyhawk all the time at some point in the future.

The session begins as more news trickles in about the attack on Gryphon's Reach and the party discusses next steps.
The party rents a cart to make slightly better time to Num-Theraz, Easeis covers the 4gp fee, and then the party heads out 14th Reaping at dawn.
While passing through the farms outside Illaren, a red glow appears from an open area between a couple of farmhouses. As the party gets closer, they catch just a glimpse of fading red runes in the dirt. In place of the runes are 5 demonic looking humanoids with diseased goat-like heads and barbed tails along with a single larger foe with a demonic torso on a centaur-like body.
Sprinkles dives past the large demon as it appears and one of the goat-headed Bulezau advances, its sharp tail ringing off Koram's shield. Quiro, shrugging off the foul stench of the demon, hexes it and lands two wicked slashes as the fighter steps up next to the cleric. A second Bulezau approaches, attacking Quiro, but failing to get through the dragonborn's armor. A third demon steps just off Koram's flank and stabs its tail into Eilo, drawing blood, but the tail's poison fails to affect the fairy. Momo flutters around the demon that just hit Eilo. Magar's throat and lungs burn from the demon's stench, but he manages to sculpt Eilo, Quiro and Koram out of his shatter spell, that slams the three closest demons. Eilo is also affected by the necrotic miasma of the demon's stench, and the demon's tail narrowly misses the warlock as she flies away to the west. She turns and unleashes a rainbow explosion, hitting 4 of the Bulezau, the Armanite, Momo, and a yak that was too close to the fight. he Bulezau that Quiro had already damaged drops and vanishes into a foul smelling pile of goo. The fourth Bulezau moves up and lands a tail strike on Eilo, but again the fairy shrugs off the poison. Koram is also damaged by the foul stench of the demons before summoning a spirit weapon, striking the third Bulezau and also affecting it with a toll the dead. Easeis moves NW, away from the melee and twin spells chromatic orb on the closest Bulezau, but both orbs fly past their intended targets. The centaur-like Armanite shouts something in what the party assumes is the Abyssal tongue before blots of crackling lightning burst from its mouth, striking Quiro and Koram squarely, but just clipping Magar. The last Bulezau moves up and lashes its tail at Magar, missing the agile elf. Sprinkles again dives past the Armanite. Quiro moves his hex to the second Bulezau that approached him, but misses with both his swings. The Bulezau then tries to strike back at the fighter, but again can't get past his armor. The third Bulezau has no better luck getting through Koram's armor. Magar continues to retch and take necrotic damage from the evil stench of the demons. He still manages to drop a fireball, sculpting out himself, Eilo, Quiro, Koram, and the innocent bystander yak. Two more of the goat-headed demons are incinerated as the wizard quickly downs a healing potion. Eilo directs a bit of celestial healing light, further healing Magar. Then eldritch blasts the fourth demon, one beam striking the enemy. Koram moves his spirit weapon and strikes the same opponent Eilo just hit, then follows with a toll the dead, necrotic damage killing the Bulezau. Easeis again twins chromatic orb hurling acid at the two remaining Bulezau, both dissolving away as they die. The Armanite charges Quiro, hooves hammering at the dragonborn, but missing, its clawed hands raking against Koram's armor to no effect. It manages a frustrated final strike with its tail, striking Magar, the wizard attempting a shield spell, but the demon's attack getting past even this magical defense. Quiro manages to psionically deflect a bit of the damage from the elf. Up close, those in melee notice that the Armanite has a glowing rune on its head, a spiked collar and spiked armbands. Quiro shifts his hex to the large demon, slashing twice, but unable to land a solid hit. The irritated dragonborn surges, but misses twice more. Magar misty steps away to the east and turns to land a wicked fire bolt into the Armanite's flank. Eilo lines up and casts blight, necrotic damage tearing into the horse-bodied demon, before again dropping a healing light over Magar. Koram moves his spirit weapon and smacks the demon followed by a toll the dead. Easeis moves NE, his chromatic orb sailing past the Armanite. The demon slams its hooves and rakes its claws at Quiro, but finds no opening in the fighter's defenses. It whips its tail behind it at Koram, but the dwarf catches the hit on his shield. Sprinkles dives past the surrounded demon's head as Quiro misty steps, pulling iron bands out of his pack, and throwing them at the Armanite. The magic bands expand and restrain the demon, locking it in place. Magar takes advantage of the immobilized target and lands an acidic chromatic orb on the enemy, killing it. The spiked collar and armbands, covered in glowing runes, remain behind as the demon's form deteriorates into foul smoke and ash. The party takes a breath, making sure no enemies remain.
Eilo then casts comprehend languages in an attempt to read the glowing runes. She manages to make out the name Demogorgon before odd lights appear in her vision and moment later the warlock is blinded. Easeis casts dispel magic on Eilo, but it seems to have no effect. Koram then attempts a lesser restoration, curing Eilo's blindness.
The party takes a short rest and Eilo asks everyone to sign the new page in her Book of Shadows. She explains that the page will protect those who have written their name on it (Gift of the Protectors). Everyone except Easeis writes their name in the tome. The sorcerer then writes his DNR statement and discusses it with the group. He is not to be raised unless he comes back on his own.
Easeis writes out his family tree and Fiona's family tree for Koram.
"Most of these people are dead. But Periwinkle found my nieces Sadhbh (Sigh-v), Esme. If I die, and I don't come back on my own... which has happened more than once already... turn my personal belongings into money and find a way to give it to them. Take Devolder's Skull back to Carse."
Koram responds, "I'll see it done if needs be, but my guess is ye'll outlive me."
End Session 83 as the party completes their remaining travels to Num-Theraz uneventfully.

The session begins as the party has arrived at Num-Theraz.
Eilo transcribes the public teleport circle outside the city and then the group heads inside to the public square market stall area. There are stands with ale, cheese, baked goods, armor and other typical sundries. After a bit of window shopping, the party hears what sounds like massive stones being dragged or shifted. A minute or so later, a loud crashing is head along with distant yells or screams to the north. Suddenly, to the east and west of the market square, the road pavers collapse into the darkness below and stone elementals appear from the openings. The western elemental is normal gray stone, but the eastern one is glowing with green crystalline lights.
Easeis twin spells chromatic orb missing the elemental to the west but hitting the one to the east with an orb of thunderous sound. The glowing elemental is obviously affected more severely than normal by the booming sound. The western elemental rises from the hole in the ground and attacks a shopkeeper and Koram, but misses both. Quiro heads east using psi-leap to close the gap on the glowing elemental, a myrmidon, slashing twice with his crystal sword, but unable to get though its rocky armor. Magar casts hold monster on the myrmidon, and it freezes in place, paralyzed by the spell. Eilo hexes and eldritch blasts the west enemy, both beams landing and cracking the grey stone of the opponent. Koram casts bless on Eilo, Easeis, Magar and himself before muttering a brief prayer and recovering some divine magic. Some of the merchants attack and others try to flee north. Easeis again twins thundering chromatic orbs land one on each elemental, but the myrmidon seems unaffected by the hit. Behind the myrmidon, a stone giant appears from the collapsed road, casting a spell and Eilo is suddenly surrounded by a golden light and forced from the air. The giant then swings a club at one of the merchants. The western elemental focuses its strikes at Koram, but its strikes are deflected by the cleric's armor. Quiro unloads four slashes at the held eastern elemental, landing 3 strikes, the final one a perfect hit, shattering the myrmidon at its midsection. Magar lands a thunder chromatic orb on the stone giant to the east, and then ducks into the baked goods stand. The now grounded Eilo hexes the western elemental, then hits it with two eldritch blast beams, and using Grasp of Hadar, pulls the opponent towards the market's large central brazier. Koram casts toll the dead on the same elemental, necrotic magic causing more cracks to appear on the enemy. A second stone giant appears from the western collapse and begins casting a spell. Easeis casts counterspell void fluctuation turning the magic to sorcerous power. The western giant also clubs a guard that was coming up from the southern main gate. A dwarven merchant attacks the western elemental, but misses. Easeis twin spells another chromatic orb, hitting both the western elemental and eastern giant with thunderous magic. The eastern giant slams its club twice into the dwarven merchant facing it, smashing the dwarf into a bloody mess. The western elemental lands a solid hit on Koram, breaking the clerics concentration on bless. Quiro hexes the eastern giant and lands one of two slashes against the enemy, force from the psionic strike and necrotic magic from hex adding to the damage. Magar throws a chromatic orb at the western elemental, the thunderous boom shattering the elemental into bits. Eilo hexes the west giant, but lands her two eldritch blast beams on the eastern giant trying to focus on the wounded enemy. The fairy then runs into the cheese merchant stall, taking cover. Koram casts guiding bolt on the eastern giant, damaging the enemy and outlining it in radiant light, then taunts the western giant. The western giant responds that he will get to the cleric soon, but takes the time to finish off the dwarven guard coming up from the south. A third stone giant appears from the north, this one, a female, appears to be more warrior than caster as she strikes one of the fleeing merchants. Easeis casts hypnotic pattern, but when he sees the giants appear to shake off his spell, he immediately drops concentration. The eastern giant begins a spell, and Easeis uses void fluctuation as he casts counterspell. Quiro swings twice, again landing one slash with additional psionic force and hex necrotic damage. Magar drops a fireball, sculpting out one dwarven merchant in the area, causing wicked burns to the two western giants. Eilo lands both of her eldritch blast beams on the eastern giant, slamming the giant to the ground, dead. The fairy continues hiding in the cheese stand. Koram, slams his hand onto the western giant's leg, necrotic energy causing wounds to open on the enemy. The giant swings twice at Koram in return, landing one solid hit on the cleric. The northern giant continues her assault on the dwarven merchant. The dwarven merchant from the east heads west to join the fight against the remaining enemies. Easeis twin spells hold monster on the two remaining giants, the western one held, but the northern one resists. Quiro uses psi-leap to get from the eastern side of the battlefield all the way to the western giant. He lands two deep slashes on the held enemy. Magar casts fireball on the two remaining giants, sculpting out his allies and the Num-Theraz dwarves, scorching both giants and killing the western caster. Eilo, no longer grounded by the, now dead, eastern giant, flies up out of the cheese stand, hexes the northern giant and eldritch blasts the northern giant landing one beam, staggering the wounded enemy. Koram casts toll the dead on the remaining enemy and she reels from the necrotic magic. The northern giant, barely holding onto life, swings at the dwarven vendor again. Easeis lines up a ray of frost and drops the final giant enemy.
End Session 84 as the party links up with surviving guards and presses north towards the palace and the pineapple.

The session begins as the party wraps up the battle against the first elementals and stone giants, then rallies the surviving dwarves of Num-Theraz before heading north towards the palace and the pineapple.
Seeing continued battles between the dwarves of Num-Theraz and the invading stone giants and their elementals, Koram casts Aid on Easeis, Quiro and himself. Coming up a large stone ramp with walls and stairs on both sides, the party sees several dwarves being slowly defeated by the giant attackers. Magar quickly places a wall of fire across the top of the ramp catching a single stone giant that had been engaged in melee with two dwarves and blocking off the ramp. Easeis lands a ray of frost on the giant caught in Magar's wall. Eilo flies up and over the wall to hover above the western stairs, hexes the giant in the wall of fire and then lands one of two eldritch blast beams. A stone giant elementalist skirts around the eastern end of the wall of fire and begins casting a spell. Easeis reacts quickly and counterspells, sorcerous power streaming into him through a fluctuation in the void. The giant caught in the wall steps through to the south, continuing her fight with the dwarves. Sprinkles dives past the giant, distracting her. Another of the glowing earth elemental myrmidons steps past the elementalist on the eastern stairs. Koram calls on additional divine magic to empower a bless spell that affects the entire party. Quiro joins the two dwarves fighting the giantess on the ramp and lands two deep cuts into the enemy. The dwarves and giants beyond the wall of fire continue their melee. Magar throws a fire bolt over Quiro's head and it burns into the now outnumbered giantess warrior. Easeis twin spells ray of frost using the temporary power from the void fluctuation, missing the giantess on the ramp, but hitting and slowing the elemental myrmidon to the east. Eilo eldritch blasts the staggering giantess on the ramp, her first beam crumpling the opponent at the top of the ramp. The fairy then shifts her hex to the elementalist to the east, but her second eldritch blast beam misses it's mark. The elementalist again begins casting a spell only to be countered again by Easeis, the void fluctuation once more giving him temporary sorcerous power. The annoyed giant orders his slowed elemental over the wall, pointing at Easeis. Sprinkles dives past the elementalist as Koram casts a guiding bolt that slams directly into the elemental myrmidons rocky skull. Quiro moves to face the myrmidon still glowing with radiant light from Koram's spell. The dragonborn slashes into the enemy also focusing his psionics into the strike, knocking the myrmidon back and causing it to trip over the wall and fall prone on the eastern stairs. Quiro then psi-leaps over the wall to land just south of the myrmidon landing another swing of his crystal blade on the enemy. Yells for help and cries of pain seem to indicate that the dwarves to the north are slowly being ground up by the giants. Momo does a flyby on the myrmidon in case it gets up. Magar lands a scorching fire bolt on the elementalist followed immediately after by a freezing ray of frost from Easeis on the same target. Eilo flies NE of the wall of fire and then eldritch blasts the elementalist, her first beam landing and with Grasp of Hadar, she pulls the enemy caster back into the wall of fire before smacking him with a second beam. She then flies back south, taking cover by the western wall. A regular earth elemental moves around the wall of fire from the NW just north of Eilo. The elementalist moves south out of the fire, the ground around him beginning to shake as he moves up to Koram. The Num-Theraz dwarf to the NE falls as the ground shifts and shards of earth slam into him. Koram feels the vibration as the giant approaches and manages to prepare himself so he doesn't fall prone. Sprinkles dives past the elementalist. The myrmidon picks itself up from the ground and attacks one of the Num-Theraz dwarves. Koram casts toll the dead on the elementalist who seems barely affected by the necrotic spell. Quiro perfectly slashes his crystal sword into the myrmidon just as it stands upright, trying to knock it back to the ground, but even though the enemy doesn't fall, the dragonborn lands a second swing. Another stone giant caster moves up behind his elemental pet to the west and manages to catch Eilo with earthbind, once again grounding the fairy out of sight on the western stairs. Momo dives past the elementalist facing Koram, and Magar fire bolts the distracted giant. Easeis twin spells ray of frost, hitting and slowing both the elementalist on he ramp and the myrmidon. The dwarves and giant continue their melee to the NE. Eilo misty steps up onto the wall by one of the spire-like decorations, her first eldritch blast beam taking out the giant facing Koram. She also tries to hit the myrmidon to the east, but that beam misses. The gray earth elemental to the west follows Eilo up and over the wall onto the ramp, and Sprinkles dives past trying to distract it. Koram casts toll the dead on the myrmidon, more bits crumbling away from the enemy, but it remains standing until Quiro lands one of his two swings into it, crumbling it to the ground. Quiro then misty steps west and then closes the distance to face the western elemental that was pursuing Eilo. His first slash bolstered with psionics damaging and knocking the enemy to the ground allowing the fighters second swing to land more easily. The western stone giant caster begins a spell, but Magar counterspells it. Momo dives in at the elemental facing Quiro right as Magar drops a shatter on both the elemental and the elementalist. Easeis moves NE to get better line of sight and twin spells chromatic orb, hitting both the caster and his elemental, the thunder damage extra potent against the earth elemental. The stone giant warrior and dwarves continue fighting to the north behind the wall of fire. One of the remaining Num-Theraz dwarves on the ramp lands a well placed hit from behind on the earth elemental know facing Quiro. Eilo takes out her wand, Switch, and casts antagonize on the earth elemental before she runs to the SE down near Magar and Easeis. The elemental takes some damage but seems unaffected by the spell's other effects. The elemental attacks Quiro but is unable to land a hit on the dragonborn. Sprinkles distracts the elemental, allowing Koram to slam a guiding bolt squarely into the enemy, rubble falling off the elemental and outlining it in radiant light. Quiro unleashes his breath weapon, force energy hitting both the elemental and the giant caster, then lands a solid strike with his longsword on the elemental. The stone giant caster moves SE to the ramp and, frustrated by his spells being countered, picks up a large rock and throws it at Magar. The rock crashes into Magar, Qiro's psionic shield barely deflecting some of the impact, and Magar staggers from the massive hit but manages to hold his concentration on the wall of fire. Momo flies in trying to distract the elementalist as the party sees the giantess warrior moving in to the NE having finished off the last of her dwarven opponents.
End Session 85 as the party continues combat against the group of stone giants and elementals on the ramp heading north. Top Round 6
