The Daily Mission reward for using group finder was increased to 10 BlackHole Coms in the 1.6 update today so we crossed our fingers and hoped for EV and got lucky! We zoomed through all the first bosses with the easy we had grown a custom to and once again it took a few try's to conquer SoA dreaded stairwell! All and all a great run, a lot of Guildies got some much needed gear upgrades.

Next week is the start of the Holiday Raids. They are on different days so be sure to check the schedule and get signed up:)

We had a low NOR turn out but a successful run through of Karagga's Palace! A big ThankYou to the Corellian League for making the zone look easy. Every boss went down on the first attempt and maybe only 3 deaths the whole trip! I am looking forward to Fridays Raid and hopefully we will have a few more NOR representing:)

NOR's first valiant attempt at invading the planet Denova! TCL again proving to be a tremendous benefit brought 2 of their own and our growing relationship with guild Albedos had 2 representatives. Judas of TCL having previously been here helped coordinate our forces through the ambushes Warlord Kelphess had set for invaders. Once reaching the first boss Judas reached out to his fellow Guildies bringing in one of TCL's Raiding expert Nethrisa to explain the fight in detail.

On our 3rd attempt we we able get Zorn and Toth down to 4% a exciting accomplishment for a raid party that had not been there before with the exception of Judas. On the 5th attempt the bosses dropped to 3% and the Raid party was becoming more and more finely tuned.

Pooja mastered the ability of dropping combat and rezzing fallen party members with out wasting the limited one time healer use of Combat Revive, this will tremendously help in Raids to come! However on our successful win against the giants Toth & Zorn no reviving was need because we won that final battle with zero causalities!

The hour was growing late by the time we reached the 2nd boss Firebrand & Stormcaller. After a inventive demonstration of the battle head we were able to get 2 attempts at the Mega Tanks before we had to call it a night!

Another successful run of Karagga's Palace! Zero deaths and only 1 early disconnect:) We had to PuG a 8th player and juggle a couple players around to make room for everyone, but for the day after Xmas we had a pretty good showing!

We had orginally scheduled our first Terror From Beyond excurision but with only 3 sign ups and TCL hosting a RP race around Tatoonie we decided to do a PickUpGroup and run SM EV. Luckily moments before our newest recruit Davkair made level 50, turned in the new Daily Group Finder starter mission recieving a full set of Tionese Gear and was Teir 1 Raid Ready!! Then Pooja log'd in giving us 5 NORbies for a night of fun at SoA's house:) After a few more mins of me talking to various Guild leader's to find us some filler we hit the Group Finder button, and BAM full group seconds later. The pug Tank had never done a OP before and didnt have TS3 so i was a bit hesitant at first. However i shouldnt haved worried, because we had zero wipes, only three deaths and defeated SoA with his dreaded Starwell on our first attempt!!! I was impressed, great work all that attended!

01.02.13 Wednesday SM Terror from Beyond

This was NOR's first zone in of Terror of Beyond, and we decided going in that our goal was killing the first 2 bosses to get the 20 BlackHole Comms or 11:30est, which ever comes first. Once 9pm arrived, we had a full group ready to go minus a tank, and TFB mechanics require 2, lots of Tank Swaps! After almost a hour we were able pug Graazh! With Nethrisa's expertise we were able to navigate to the first boss quickly, and after the first couple of wipes we were able to understand the mechanics. Try number 3 and we were on our way to tracking down the 2nd boss!

The clock was running down fast we reached the 2nd boss around 11est with only 30mins to go we couldn't have to many wipes before people would have to start logging off. After several mins of strategy explanation we made our first attempt and had a good run before we wiped. We prepped for a 2nd run and made some adjustments to the tank positioning and it must have worked because we defeated the triplets and completed our goal mins before 11:30! Everyone received their 20 BH Comms for completing the weekly mission.

Davkair and Arttoheed had to log for the night, but the remaining 6 had a few more mins in us, so with talk of a hidden chest up the way we decided to stick with it a little longer without half of our DpS force. We got side tracked with a 15min nonstop ever spawning area of mobs and raked in some much needed credits! Then continued on reaching the chest and passing out some rare crafting loot!

Even with a late start I felt it was a very successful first run of TFB !!

Success! NOR's first hosting of HardMode Karagga's Palace and Gilen's first time in a KP zone! A little tougher then StoryMode but we managed to complete our goal of making it past the first 2 bosses in order to complete the Weekly Mission (apologies for quoting a 20BH reward, it was only 10 BH & 30 Daily Commendations).

The first Boss BoneThrasher took us 3 attempts and I think Sorno&Jarg also took 3 tries. Overall it was a very smooth run and we got started pretty quickly and finished a little early.

01.22.13 Tuesday 9est StoryMode Eternity Vault / Karagga's Palace - Random

• Tier 1 SM : Gear should be Tionese(51) or better, Doing the new Group Finder HM gives you 99 Tionese Coms for a full set of gear.
• Goal: Complete the GroupFinder Mission with reward of 10 BH Coms.

Another successful run once we entered the zone, we killed all the bosses on the first attempt. We had to rearrange the group a bit so we did a force spawn of Karagga's Palace.

We just need to work on attendance, if you sign up please be on time, if you can't make it we understand just try and send me a email or post here, etc etc. We will have to start the replacing process at 9:05est but if I know by 8:30 it makes things go much quicker:)
