Server Rollback

I suspect most of you discovered one way or another that ArenaNet had to take down the servers for an extended period of time after a bug was introduced in the last patch that pretty much corrupted any character that was logged in during that time. They ended up having to rollback their server database. If you want to know how this affects you, Mike O'Brien posted the rollback details on the ArenaNet forums.

Boy, you get really spoiled with an average of 30 seconds of downtime for patches after a while.

From what I read on Reddit, this was the first rollback they ever had to do in the history of GW1 and GW2, and the longest downtime by far they had on either game. I guess every winning streak ends some day... but yes, we've been spoiled
