BW is making some changes to how we open packs. Check out the post for full details, but the nicest change concerns the Item Stash:
Unopened packs will retroactively go into the Pack Viewer. This include Dark vs Light packs. While the stuff folks like myself got from the packs we already opened will remain bound on the character who got the packs, any future loot from the packs can be transferred across our legacies.Any time that you open a pack, all of the items that you received will be placed in your Item Stash UI. Unlike the Pack Viewer, the Item Stash is Legacy Wide. This will allow you to move items straight from a pack to any character in your Legacy.
To claim an item from the Item Stash is very simple. Simply navigate to the item in the list and press claim. This will take the item from your stash and place it into your inventory. Note that the items Cartel Market bind timer will not begin until it has been claimed into your inventory.
This is a pretty nice Quality of Life change not only for folks doing the DvL event, but anyone who opens packs.
