Character Notebook: Feels Like Home

Post by Ismene (Quirk) »

Where is/are your character(s) happiest? What zone, region or city feels like home to them, and why?

For example, Fribble will always love Rata Sum because that's the Asuran home city, but she also has a special fondness for Lion's Arch because of all the many nooks, crannies, and small discoveries there are to be found there (as well as a certain philosophical alignment with a city that was founded by a bunch of pirates). She also likes the tidy farmlands of Queensdale, even if she thinks the inhabitants are quaint and old-fashioned (there are not nearly enough golems guarding the crops, in her opinion...which is to say, there are none - and how strange that is!). She is also slowly coming to love Verdant Brink for how green and vibrant it is...and for how many specimens of new wildlife there that are deadly!

For Sofija, it's definitely Hoelbrak. Nothing beats the snow and cold from the Shiverpeak Mountains which lets a Norn know they are alive. Then there's Bear Lodge where she loves to commune with the Great Bear Spirit who guides her actions. Plus the area provides great hunting opportunities.

Though she hates the hot and humid climate of the the Tarnished Coast, the hunting there is exceptional and she appreciates and admires the Sylvaris respect for nature though their naivety can be a bit grating at times.
