Alot of the 6's and 7s come from the lock boxes so players sell them cheaper then those that are making them, so what you are doing works great and i will add it to the list above. Personally i use all the Brutal, Savage and Cruel runes which give a extra amount of skill points to each one and those dont come out of the boxes, so you have to grind them the slower way.

One of the quickest way of leveling them is to buy stacks of 99 Peridots (30-40k AD) from the auction house
I removed the peridots from the list, these had really sky rocketed over the past month or two and now the large stacks of 99 arent even on the AH.

Rank 6 stacks seemed to be the best bang for your buck.

Why do you want extra characters at level 10? Are alts at level 10 really any help to your main character.

Explanation, TLDR version:
- An alt under level 10 is guaranteed useless to your main
- An alt that at level 10 starts working on the Leadership profession will eventually generate lots of AD, and probably end up at level 60 without having to play

Explanation, longer version:
The reason to get an alt to 10 (15-16 is what I prefer) is this: alts under 10 can't run professions. And Leadership is the profession that rakes in AD like crazy -- eventually.

Once you get an alt to 10, you can then do only leadership tasks on them -- use https://gateway.playneverwinter.com/ from a browser even if you're playing your main in Neverwinter game, or a work computer (shhh!). A lot of leadership profession tasks give both leadership XP and character XP -- see the list of all tasks at http://neverwinter.gamepedia.com/Leadership . It's pretty much guaranteed to (slowly) build your alts to 60 even if you do NOTHING but use the gateway to select leadership tasks. Also, on the gateway, log into Sword Coast Adventures per toon -- can only do this thru the gateway. You'll get some trinket(s) every day for ~10 seconds of your time.

At level 15-16 (forget which), you'll get the ability to invoke, which gives you even more character XP, where it makes more sense to quicky 'roll toons' by quickly logging in, hitting control-I to invoke (or clicking on the icon), maybe doing some professions, then moving to the next character.

Spending time on leadership doesn't mean you'll be swimming in AD like Scrooge McDuck the day you start. Leadership is the slowest profession to level up in, but it has the highest rewards for doing so. That's why you should start early on it, then you can do the AD->Zen (if desired), or have your toons occasionally buying stuff for your main and mailing it to yourself (or using shared bank slots).

I know I am behind everyone on this but the gateway.playneverwinter is really awesome. I love being able to check out the AH, work on professions, and the sword coast adventures is really cool. I only whish i could do this on my phone on the go. The sword coast adventures reminds me of the dice game farkle. Some one should really flesh out this idea, it would make a great mobile game.

Someone please send me a guild invite... Roland Wiggin@rolandwiggin
