In honor of Halloween, Left 4 Dead 2 is free this weekend, and 75% off to purchase if you want to play past this weekend (that makes it $4.99). For the uninitiated, Left 4 Dead 2 is a 4-player co-operative first-person shooter where you fight off waves of zombies, as you make your way from checkpoint to checkpoint. If features a humans vs. zombies mode that is ridiculously fun as, and several other gameplay modes.

The original Left 4 Dead is also on sale for $4.99, but isn't included in the free weekend. If you own both games, all of the original Left 4 Dead scenarios will appear in Left 4 Dead 2.
