An update. I haven't been back on much since getting out of the hospital because I still wasn't feeling that well. I put it down to the antibiotics I was on since they can be very harsh on your stomach. But even after finishing them, I still wasn't feeling well so I went to the doctor who said that while there has been improvement, it hasn't healed as much as they were hoping so I'm back on antibiotics. But thankfully, he gave me some meds that have helped settle my stomach a bit more.

I am feeling better, but still have a long way to go till I'm 100% and can take on any comers for an ale-drinking challenge

Had a bit of a setback Monday and Tuesday as the pain came back. Went to the doctor's and after some tests, it looks like a mild infection so back on antibiotics and a special diet for the next week. Thankfully it's just the pain, no nausea or loss of appetite so that's good.

In other news, they moved me to a new store starting tomorrow where I'll just do a basic 9 to 5-ish schedule and it's a lot closer to home in anticipation for going on disability for my surgery. So I should be more available for guild stuff for the next couple of weeks. Go in for a follow-up with the Gastro doc next week. Hopefully will have some news concerning when the surgery will take place.
